I have some issue with wheel alignment, is there specific attention that I need to consider when selecting the vendor like Wheel Alignment System that have Renault brand and model settings, etc?

Normally, some tyre shop will select setting that is closes to your car, not always matching the car make and model.

Since Fluence setup is based on a Jap chassis I would expect alignment not be a serious issue. I'm only guessing here!

Unlike Peugeot, all of us still have that left pull no matter any alignment attempts. So much so, have decided to live with it!

From what I read, Fluence is based on Megane platform. Only the engne and gearbox are from Nissan.

Hmm... where can I find compatible workshop?

Oh you are right. It's the engine & gb which is Jap. The car is French. Then same problems as Pug, difficult to find good independent workshops.

Megane and Sylphy shares the same platform from Renault Nissan alliance tongue.gif

tho the platform is based on the previous gen sylphy hence it can use the same engine and gearbox smile.gif

Owh... really?

So, major part is Nissan then. Meaning, I can go to any tyre shop with Nissan configuration for tyre alignment?

i am not a technician tho. tongue.gif it is based on same platform but i am not sure if modification is being made to suit the markets for Fluence smile.gif so i wouldnt assume it is 100% same as Nissan Sylphy.

BTW, Renault Megane uses the same platform as well tongue.gif

I doubt they share the nissan platform, i think the heart is Nissan, the body is Renault, you just look only at the physical design is already far off from Nissan designed vehicles, so the alignment wont be the same as well i guess... Why dont you do it in Renault/Nissan SC? smile.gif smile.gif

Owned the car for 10 months now, prefacelift version.
Problems so far :
1. Break pedal squeak sound during pedal depressed/released..so far ok n under monitoring after 2nd fix...
2. Air con compressor noise when compressor is turned on. Only last for 1-2 sec then noise will gone. Will ask them to check in 2nd service.
3. Short weird whistling noise(last for ~3 secs) from engine bay after 1-2 hours highway drive under hot weather (32 celcius or above), normally happened when leaving toll (slow down to below 20 km/h and start acceleration again). Already lodge report.
4. Very faint squeaking noise from rear left passenger seat when someone take that seat and car cruising on bumpy road.

Any one face similar issue?

So far owned for three months, my main issue is sound from suspension when going over bumps. Could be because I installed the 'cushion'??

Thanks for sharing.

We never had any of the above so far, still below 2k mileage and the longest travel distance is 300km. We will keep you posted.

For us, we had 2 incidents so far, one with the remote battery being low and radiator fan turned on by itself after short travel to the market.

The both problem gone after restart the car and turn off again. When the remote battery is low the car wouldn't lock itself. So, better be sure that you see the alarm is on when you walk away.

Can you 'walk away lock' the car? If not, change the battery as advised by SA.

He also advised me to go to Service Center to confirm the battery condition.

I also had occasional radiator fan turn on after engine switch off. But I think it is normal to bring down engine temperature. I normally have this after stuck in stop-go traffic under hot sun, or highway drive.
The remote battery I also changed once already. After change, you need to reset by stand close to the car, press any button on remote continuously 4 times (I pressed the open door button), then the low bat message on your dashboard display will be gone.
