theres a technique to make shotgun shoot fast...

left click hold force move..... and spam press HF key. mines #3....

you'll then notice shotgun spam is faster than doing normally...

this was the case for wizards till it got patched. but not yet patched for crus...


there 2 other techniques that achieve this too, which i tried but i felt my way worked for me best


*i'm shotgun but i have almost 0 attack speed other than from my paragorn points, but i still shoot fast

Not sure what diff it would be for those who stack ias for this, but i doubt it matters right now.

btw using first page crusader beginner guide, I feel a bit comfartable in T4 now... but still no crusader shield/ item drop from farming and Kadala... nice blizztard... buffed drop rate my a ssssss

now T1 only..T2 can..but not efficient..

yes, Cool down reduction..stack as much as u can.. we beginner Crusader play w/o full Akkhan bonus... So i suggest u to craft Crimson set.. roll CDR on shoulders etc..

Non-akkhan build which can solo T5-6 (inefficiently) and do well in lower torment levels.

67% CDR with passive and paragon.

yeah we beginner crusader might take ages before looted that GG flail (not to mention 5xx Paragon )

Aiya. Only need 200 PL for 10% CDR.
If wanna follow the crated theme can use born shoulder/weapon and Aug helm/chest and reaper's wraps.

As you can see from this poorly made video (Free fraps is 30 secs blocks), It can actually do T6 but kills quite slow.
You can notice with the CDR, LoV - Unstoppable Force is up 100% of the time allowing FotH's spamming.

As you can see, I can't spam 100% but that's because its single target. In situations where there are more mobs, You can actually get it to work seamlessly.

Build you can see from the profile I shared above.
I believe this build and itemisation is good for people to get started into the crusader world.

To improve on this build, gloves, boot and helm can be akkhan and bracer can be reaper's wraps.
You can have zero fury issues with that setup.

T3-5 is comfortable depending on the rolls of the items.

What's the minimum CDR in total?

Any other requirement? Such as IAS etc?

There isn't any other requirements besides CDR.

IMO, CDR is the single most important stat for a Crusader.
Even in my main, Everything that can be CDR is CDRed except my weapon as I have not been able to find a FotF which gives me that option.

You can actually get CDR from a crusader shield as well. But the odds are really low as there are a million stats to roll from. That's why I didn't bother rolling my Final Witness.

Just wanted to inform you fellow crusaders .... expect great things patch v2.1 .... of particular interest to our class.






I'm hoping the new set buffs would...

1. make phalanx more like immortal king (that isn't reliant on CDR or recasts for phalanx....). Because the current akkhan set is CDR based, so that pretty much sums up that CDR is 99.99% in all Crusader builds...

2. hoping shield bash becomes more viable so as not to be trumped by a heavens fury shotgun build. But at the same time i hope they don't try to nerf HF shotgun to make it as weak as the current shield bash builds.

i envision a shield bash via set would have to have a much wider area of damage that would be competitive against the current shotgun and firestarter builds.... somewhere in between the 2.....

it would also make better use of justice lantern, helm of command and shield of westfall aka wolf shield.



what this all means is..... not much point farming now because some legends will be changing and it won't be retroactive..... so if you've got decent gear like me, not much point other than...

1. working on achievements
2. getting more paragorn (though kinda pointless once you've hit 600+ )

lol bro...tonite i can help if u want... if ur level <50, doing Act1 cursed cellar bounty, >50 doing hellrift..u will 70 very fast

No need power-levelling. It's old school method.

Go do multi-player rift.
Swap char to get xp points after each rift run.
