Edit: Oh btw, can I just use any cable with the powerbank? I've got an Asus charger head for my Zenfone 4 and I wonder if it's safe to use it to charge the pb.

yup... no problem... only some say slow charging = quality charging = battery last long = charges last long due to less heat generated during charging.... but don't care... don't have time for slow charging

cheapo cable affect as well... normally I used cables bundle from phone

nahh... should't be a problem... I'm using Ipad charge + Sony cable to charge PB and other phone as well

I used CurrentWidget & Battery Monitor Widget.

Read several posts about it in Google.
Actually if you use Battery Monitor Widget, it shows the current flow in +ve (flow from battery, not charging) or -ve (flow from battery minus incoming current)

Example:

Not charging = shows "600mA", so phone is using 600mA worth of juice

Charging = shows "-300mA", so phone is using 600mA but incoming juice is 900mA


I believe CurrentWidget is about the same, only it doesn't show the -ve sign

Phone are designed to be able to accept certain amount of mah. I didn't do enough research for Mi3, but let's just say it can accept only 1.2amp, then even if you use 2amp, most it will get is 1.2amp.

Yes, quality of the cables do affect the input.

Finally good to see this phone thread stop spamming unnecessary post about pb/delivery(I still see this).

ya. if im not wrong mi3 accept up to 1.6amp input

its funny when some people already got their MI3 from the first batch, suddenly post about delivery is consider as spam and unnecessary. While on thread v4 and v5, all this same person also talk about delivery non stop.
What a bunch of assholes.
