QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Jun 1 2014, 03:57 PM) We got free credits from MIUI moderator.. Haha.. Joined a contest n won 3rd prize.. im still waiting ur PM on the SP meet up, maybe shoot some mi3 images and vids to show the quality here too Those brand that u mentioned are all china oem brand. Most likely get their supply from same glass manufacturer. Only use different brand. U can too if u can commit 1000pcs per model. We often received quotation from these manufacturers to do our own brand.. As for test, if we do a 1 to 1 comparison test on brands, I'm sure a lot of the sellers here will scold us. However,we did demo for our some of customers here during Cod. To show them the different types of glass, from china, from USA n IMOS. We do not mentioned any brand unless being asked.c U googled Asahi n LITU pop up.. It's simple, if u use SEO, u can even have ur name pop up when search for Asahi.. A lot of companies claimed they are using Corning gorilla glass or Asahi glass for their sp. But if u ask them the supplier of the glass, high chances they can't give u the answer. Reason? They just claim without proof. For IMOS, we have checked and they are getting their Corning gorilla glass from GTOC Taiwan, the largest glass supplier in Taiwan which is also the partner of Corning Taiwan. U can google it.. We are always open for sellers/users/suppliers to send us their item for review. Our review will be posted to miui official forum since are in the news team. But so far, after those who watch IMOS video, none will wanna try to compare it. Here's a video by IMOS Taiwan on the comparison on Corning glass vs normal soda lime glass. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0yT1HKZ_WDs Enjoy |

QUOTE(jeisern @ Jun 5 2014, 03:35 PM) Guys, one sentence rules it allJust a question here, basically i am a basic user - I see my RAM used 38% after a clean reboot. Free ram about 1290M - If i start using apps it will reduce my free ram to 600M ++ Even after i cleanup using the normal cleaner, it will not free up to 1290M unless i reboot. Any one can explain to me the memory management ? I do not use advanced task killer as i understand that some apps stay in the background so that it can recalled quickly but the RAM seems to be reducing. I don't see much lag but just a curious question. "free ram is wasted ram" |

QUOTE(baowen @ Jun 5 2014, 08:50 PM) In Xiaomi, your contact will be saved in one place only (which is Contact), it will not separate it out for google account, sim or device until you set it. funny thing is i can use micloud and google account sync at the same timeWhat I can advise you is, based on my finding(you can ignore it if you don't want this way) 1) make sure all your Contact, the number are added with country code. Example: 0129876543 > change it to +60129876543 (You can download this application from Play Store name "Number Fixer", it will help you to do it for all contact in 3~5minutes time) Method A 2) if you want to sync your contact from Google account, make sure your MiCloud synch for contact is off. [attachmentid=4001390] [attachmentid=4001391] i) Go to your Settings > Account > Mi Cloud > turn off sync contact. [attachmentid=4001394] ii) Go to your Settings > Account > Google > turn on sync contact ( if you found your contact is not there, you required to install Google Contact Sync [if you using dev rom, it was not installed] ) [attachmentid=4001396] once you got all your contact synch from Google account, if you still want it to be backup/sync to your MiCloud, before your enable it back, make sure your MiCloud Contact is empty and clean. Method B, 1. At your Note 2, Export your all your contact as .vbs (this should be just 1 .vbs file only) 2. transfer it to your Mi3 using Bluetooth (any other method) 3. Turn off all your contact synch under your account. 4. open the .vbs you have transfer from your Note 2 in Mi3 5. once done, before you enable back your google, micloud synch, make sure those google account, Micloud account contact are empty cleared. Bottom line, You doesn't need to synch your contact to MiCloud and Google account, it is redundant.. of course you can do it.. As my self, i just enable contact synch for Google Account, the rest are off (for contact only) as long as your Xiaomi Mi3 is WCDMA (legit one) you can flash to whatever country rom you like where you can find at en.miui.com/download (except TD version) lol, good luck, i got share my step to few bro to flash back Stable ROm from Dev rom, but no response from them since yesterday. but I have it done without issue la..
