if used recovery... dont used wipe data... it will format your data and just remain the rom itself to run....

for easy wipe... consider Factory Reset.... since there is no factory reset on mi recovery....

thinking to flash cwm...

any body here on 4.5.30 dev rom face sudden restart during tethering... on normal mode...

already 2 time today my mi3 restarted... not sure how but when i click on 1 app and suddenly press back / home button... phone feel lagging and hang for 2-3 sec... then restart itself...

need to monitor it in few days and if still happen... going to flash back stable rom...

not sure laa.. not fells any heat at all..

Since u inform about rma... is it need to flash back to stable rom first before going to SC...

i also just realised that my current contact sync to xiaomi account not google... just now wanna save new contact... suddently there is no gmail to choose (normally i used 2 gmail account) as per my previous android phone...


now need to find ways to sync contact at xiaomi to my google...

already have 2 google account on mi3... but my contact defaulted to xiaomi account... and when add new account or edit contact, it not sync to my google account...

i just realized when open my gmail contact from desktop, my new contact and newly add fav contact not updated to google... only on xiaomi account updated...

hahahaa... maybe because after flash dev rom, i directly log-in to xiaomi account and only click next until finished...
and after that only installing google service...

quite confuse on my setup....

on my account got: xiaomi, google, FB and Whatapp...

but on Configure contact list only got: xiaomi, FB and Whatapp only....

already sync google account... ermmm.....

owh... i though contact framework is included inside google service framework...

going to search and download now... hopefully will solve my problem...

yup 2 different thing... flash miui just like u install windows only... just follow the instruction on the updater apps..

i'm rooted only because i can't live without TB and Ad Away app...

if flash back to stock rom will not void warranty...
for rooting on mi3... not sure will void or not.... im confused on this part since miui is xiaomi official rom and rooting is part to develop new rom by miui team for them to debug... and most if not all of miui developer are freelance...

4g will be mi3s...
