The whole world only got 2 type Mi3, one is Tegra and another is Snapdragon. Hardware problem = cannot solve. Sell it and get a Snapdragon version if you want to use 3G in Malaysia.

i still dont get why NVidia uses different 3G bandwidth than Qualcomm, they always have 2 separate models for phones, or is it an ISP thing..

Hi. Does any user have any missing notification issue? For example, my friend sent me a message in Wechat. But it doesn't give me any notification at all. Until I manually go into the app only realize my friend sent me a message.

I tried to search online, but offer me no clue.

Nvidia also support 3G band in malaysia, BUT mi3 Nvidia version is for td-wcdma version. maybe it's their marketing strategy in China.

R u on dev rom? This is a known bug...read page 1 to solve it.

It's not mainly a marketing strategy. In China,there are 3 mobile service providers:China Mobile,China Union and China Telecom.

China Mobile is using 2G GSM and 3G TD-SCDMA.China Union is using 2G GSM and 3G WCDMA,China Telecom is using 2G CDMA and 3G CDMA2000.

Snapdragon processor has integrated with 2G GSM/CDMA and 3G WCDMA/CDMA 2000 which can support 2 out of 3 of mobile service providers,but no integrated TD-SCDMA solution. Thus, in order to perform an almost similar performance with the same design,Nvidia version comes to be the solution.

So in Malaysia,only Snagdragon version of Mi3 could be using under both 2G and 3G,while Nvidia version could only be using under 2G.

If you are "upgrade" from Stable ROM to DEV Rom,
even without rename it, you want put it abcdiamidiot.zip in your folder
Go to Updater> Menu > select update package > the Explorer will open and just select it > then it will ask you want to backup ? yes/no > once done and just start flash it...
