I don't care those because quality display more important to me. Once I notice it is TN then bye bye from my list. Haha.

If you don't might TN and got GPU support, then you may consider.

Sorry I don't own Dell U2417H but I know it is a famous monitor.
I do look and check for it but I choose 32" ViewSonic at the end and no regret about it.

BenQ EW2440ZH is VA+ panel which give you true black. Pure black like OLED.

Dell U2417 is IPS panel which had more accuracy color in general and is very black. Can't be as black as VA+ panel but it is still very black.

But for that price, I didnt pick it. Now I am using 32" ViewSonic 1440p monitor which original price is RM 1,299.00, I bought at price of RM 1,249.00, it is also IPS but 1440p resolution.

Below is my comparison with both monitor ViewSonic 32" IPS 1440p (VX3209-2K) v/s BenQ 24" AMVA+ 1080p (EW2440ZH), sorry I can't compare with Dell U2417 as I don't own it.

ViewSonic 32" IPS 1440p (VX3209-2K) is actually much better than BenQ 24" AMVA+ 1080p (EW2440ZH) in every part, it is IPS which more accuracy in color and I find it looks much brighter and less lag even though it mentioned as 8ms GTG where BenQ 24" AMVA+ 1080p (EW2440ZH) is 4ms GTG.
This is probably due to ViewSonic is max 10ms where BenQ is max 20ms.

Image wise also much brighter and nicer even though both same 250 cd/m² brightness. Contrast wise both is different. Thanks to ViewSonic 1440p resolution, games looks much sharpen and smoother, AA is nearly not needed in most games.

The base is extremely sturdy because it is metal stand. No wobble issue as well.

I think don't have black, that probably wrong information put by the seller.

I had check the new version VX3211-2K, it is much thicker bezel and overall size bigger than VX3209-2K.

Others spec seems all same except the respond time they use new way of information. So same or not not sure.

VX3211-2K having much accurate color calibration, due to this part I believe it will be much more expensive.

I will pick Acer R231, it look much nicer than ViewSonic, that VX2363Smhl looks very ugly in design.

My office had purchase few Acer R1 series but is 22" model - R221Q, overall not bad for that price in IPS.

Desk distance. After you use you will not feel it is damn big. Hehe

So many people do 3 monitor and it is even bigger, I mean longer.

A single 32" only never an issue. Hehe

Now all monitor is Flicker-Free, you won't feel tired or eye stress when using it.

But I think for me 32" is limit already because further more you need to turn your head already. Like what Linuxtech review mentioned LG 38" Ultra Wide is too big (actually too long) where need to keep turning your head. But I do like that 38" Ultra Wide. Once I found demo set, I will go check it out. Ultra wide currently in market common is 3 size, 29" which is out for me, too small already, 34" probably just nice. 38" very very big (I never seen myself yet, no idea how big is that big).

Seating further is not a solution because you can't see the wording and typing. PC Monitor is means seat within desk distance.

I think more than that, ya got speaker some more.

This model I think only release mostly Asia. Most important not release in US, UK and Europe. Thus less review.

oooo coool same price. I think the black shall be this. The VX3209 don't have black but VX3211 do is black.

The successor is beauty.

Both is not gaming monitor. Now no free sync or G-Sync can't consider gaming monitor.

Without those, will be label as normal monitor. Hehe

Beware on ViewSonic "Fantastic service!" and this Monitor VIEWSONIC VX3209-2K design got BIG FLAW where ants can go inside!

It happen twice already and second ants is fully stuck inside the screen!

Ants or any insert is not cover under warranty and they charging RM 360.40 for cleaning up the screen!

This is my 1st and last ViewSonic monitor!

Beware and re-consider if you plan to buy ViewSonic monitor in future.

The point here is ViewSonic after sell service, they hired which company is not an issue. The issue is how ViewSonic do.

Yup, I hope so. See tomorrow got anyone calling me or not. They shall do free services instead of asking such big amount of cleaning fees.

Update: I am very impress where ViewSonic Taiwan is very great helping me solving the problem together with ViewSonic Malaysia.

My ViewSonic VX3209-2K had return to ViewSonic for full refund arrangement.

Will update after the refund completed. (took around 2 to 3 weeks)
