nothing to stop you from buying properties and figurines at the same time la... although generally investing in collectibles isn't as good an idea as it initially looks to be.

I dont see figures as items of investment; nowadays you dont see figure prices going up after release anymore, only a few exceptions. It's strictly a hobby for me, and started another new hobby - photography. But im the kind of person who loves the sight of toys, mecha and figurines in general, i still walk into Toys r'us when at malls and just look around, then leave.

The figure world has been goddamn boring lately as well; new figures that were released within the last 3 or 4 months, almost none interest me. I only have 2 preorders so far - one in Sept-Oct period and the other in Jan 2015, and im waiting for Phat's Kyouko to release, probably Sept - didnt order that one.

I guess i can count myself lucky, not struggling to deal with Kancolle's merchandise spam unlike the fans of that game.

I crave for at least 1 new figure every month. Right now i have my eyes on Phat's Yatogami Tohka, a bit hard to find.
In September i have 2 releases though, Phat's Kirigiri Kyouko (i predict will delay to Sept; didnt PO, will buy on release day itself) and Orchid Seed Sonico Cheerleader (Orchid Seed = must preorder =/ ). For me it's like, my standards are pretty high now i wont simply buy any figures unless i like it for a reason, and the ones i fell in love with are those very expensive ones most of the time - 13k to 17k yen price range.

Fast fast come to working world. Then can afford to get 2-3 or even 4 per month, as well as venturing to other stuff like action figures, dolls, gunpla etc whistling.gif

Ya, it has been quite boring recently.
I got CIEL next january.

and will wait for another figure which hit my cup of tea in future, then my target of PVC figure will achieve and collection on PVC figure will end.
Now that I got yellow/peach, red/pink, blue/purple color in 3 different figure, the next one should be Green, or white, or any color different from what I have.

Jz want 4 figure with different color~ wait my "angel" to arrive.

I dont plan on stopping the hobby, even as a working adult. Trends come and go and we have to accept it. Haruhi's era long gone, K-On and BRS has also "passed on", the same will happen to Madoka, Shingeki no Kyojin, SAO, etc. Even Touhou has quiet down a bit already, nothing much new in the figure market. If you are resistant to change, and willing to pick up new things and fall in love with new anime/games and the characters, the figures you want will be endless. I suspended Gunpla for years already - actually im willing to get back on a few Master Grades but i don't have the resolve to build them properly, not to mention they are a pain in the ass to deal with regarding how fragile they can be - even wiping or cleaning with cloth is difficult and unlike figures i cant rinse gunpla with water.

that's why i'm cutting down. sweat.gif Only few that interest me. Quite tempting for Alisa GE2 swimsuit version but price is rather high. The regular uniform doesn't interest me as its only features gun. No Blade.

Haha I'm not stopping though, just add more stuff to the existing interests (since got enough moolah to sustain them) tongue.gif
