I made a calculation comparison before in the previous thread but not sure what page; kena tax 10% or paying extra for shipping (by splitting into 2 parcels - if there are multiple figures in your package), there are almost no savings made - at most you save like a few hundred yen (only RM10 - 20+), small difference (depends la, to some people RM 10 is also big deal to them, but chump change to me - when compared to the overall value of your purchase).

As for group orders, you only truly save on group orders in shipping costs if you are lucky enough to avoid tax - which is impossible when you look at the release time frame of Ciel - December. If delayed, maybe January or latest February. Between Dec-Feb customs are hot on parcels trying to tax as many of them as possible because ppl doing business are importing lots of stuff, doing sales for Xmas and CNY. So, i dont recommend group order especially for Ciel, if the release date is any indication.

For expensive figures like Ciel i'd rather preorder from a local seller i know and no need to deal with risk of tax.
Only cheaper, under 12k yen figure that wont become rare i hunt for the cheapest deal after release. My Dark Olivia will be shipped out today, and including shipping costs, she cost me only RM 500 (i was also surprised). If a 13,800yen figure i can get at RM 500, Ciel will most likely end up costing about RM 600 maximum, not more. Barely an extra 2000yen.

Bro, which toy shop would you recommended.

Olivia box damn huge =/ They should have made the wings separate and let us assemble it.
And i didnt notice Miku 2020 Dragon is also quite huge in box size (especially long).

the awesome part of this figure is the wings, without the wings, this figure is just an ordinary figure.

I didnt remove the adhesive thingy - it doesnt look like glue to me, more like sillicone of some kind. Kinda unnecessary to remove it.
Agree. But it's really big for a 1/8 scale, but scales almost mean nothing in figures.

It would be good if it is 1/7 drool.gif ...but the price might be... cry.gif

RM 480 so cheap  blink.gif I thought already RM 55X or higher kind of price point. I guess im overestimating the value of yen. Under Rm 500 is already cheap for a 15600yen figure. I havent order yet, most likely within this week i will order.

I order in Penang Gwing, pick up locally so no extra postage fees.

Oh, gwing, i only bought Gunpla from them before - cheap. Fast service and mail replies, shipping is also really good. Figure isnt their main focus though, but they are pricing their preorders pretty well because their stocks from their supplier comes in large amounts so i guess that's why they can offer it cheap.
*
I was struggling between CIEL and gunpla these few days, and pay a visit to Gwing shop last few days, finding that Gunpla is not my cup of tea (except for PG level)...but I have no experience to assemble even a MG. so i give up and go for the loving CIEL...LOL~ flex.gif

Usually I just divide the yen by 30 but even so, 480 is an awesome deal.

I wonder what's their jalan to get stock so cheap, are they GSC partnered or something?
*
That's their own way of doing business, and what ever it is, the important point is we get what we like at good price! rclxms.gif

Hmm few years back I accidentally saw one invoice from supplier (Japan) to a shop (the items are figurines). The prices stated in that invoice are basically retail price with 20% discount.
*
Some other toys like Hot Toys, I heard that if the distributor took 6 unit for one model, they will get 1 unit free. despite of the commission they earn, they still get one free.

but sometime, you need to bare the risk of the figure/stock being stuck there for months. nod.gif

Trust me, even MG is very easy to build if you direct build (with proper tools), with only a few exceptions like the EX-S, Unicorn, Zeta (usually complex transformable ones). SEED and 00 MGs are very easy to build even for beginners while the amount of details is good; for PG it is not something rookies should try. MG is about the size of 1/8 figures ah, not bad already.

Walao, didnt know Ciel can get so cheap @_@ Now who should i order it from... Gwing is also a good idea, since im from penang. Can pick up from their shop, save shipping if the release timing is right.
*
Let's go Gwing~ blush.gif

For Gunpla, If wan to go for it I will straight go for PG, as MG is way too small and fragile for me, but, needs tools to do too~
maybe few years later, someday i gone mad, i will go for Gundam~
