Can simply flash to other rom without any camera driver ? later camera cannot work?
QUOTE(batman1172 @ Jul 25 2014, 10:33 AM)
Correct. 99% people like this. the 1% is in lowyat forum.

Even I geeky also I don't like flash or root my iphone and note3. In fact, I ban all rooted phones from office wifi.

however, don't mind playing around with mi or honors simply because I can afford it.
*
how do you check who is rooted and ban all of them ? unsure.gif

Hey, guys I have some problem with the phone gps.
I'm running latest firmware, and using m11.
The m11 gps locking is very unstable. 80% lost satellite all the time.
However the GPS tools able to lock sat quite fast.
Things to mention here is, I didn't have SimCard insert.
And the current spare SimCard doesn't have data.
Is there any fix for this case?

Technically no way to find out. Solution simple only. Sign a form that says don't root your device or else employment is terminated.
lines are paid, company provide s3 and wifi is free. so far, all agree.

What has rooting the phone got to do with work performance or work in general? I don't see any relationship at all.

muh cloud.
sms uses the telco network. why would it go to xiaomi server.
are they just backing up your messages? how do you recover the messages then? try to wipe your phone see if it restores your messages.

in the article, xiaomi defended they would encrypt your messages. did you create a key or password for it? no? that means the key is with xiaomi. that is not how privacy works.

they said they wouldn't use the info against you, that just mean they won't directly threaten you, nothing about data mining, etc.

xiaomi is doing this without any user permission, i know botnet when i see one.

they can't even release the kernel source which is under gpl and you're suppose to just trust them?

you guys are just in denial.
this isn't just baseless paranoia, it smells fishy afterall.

cyanogenmod will be the best solution but that will take time if there's even a developer working on it.
otherwise use a firewall and ban china.

you get what you paid, in this case you sold yourself for a telephone. how cheap.
you have been warned.
