To enabled auto start, you enable it in the app and I also add the app to the auto start in security app. Then, when you reboot the phone, it will autorun the swap. The ram expander will appears in the notification bar.

Just want to confirm something. Redmi 1S cannot use 3G if use GSM SIM card right? Just stuck at 2G?

IF i recall correctly , SiM 1 supports our local 3G while SIM 2 doesnt , only run on EDGE . Quite common for china dual sim phones , they have their network there which is different from ours

If u buy China TD-SCDMA version, it will only works with 2G on SIM1, no 3G support. If WCDMA version can support our local/global 3G
SIM1 for 3G
SIM2 2G only

May I know what problem did you experience with the Global ROM that is fixed in the China ROM?

I thought China's network is different? Can use China ROM? Still can download Google Play store and other google apps in China ROM?

China rom no gapps right? Need to install gapps manually?

Global rom takes more resources, China rom doesn't. Before u install the updater software will ask u to backup your system. Backup then only install. U will have Google Play as before.

The China rom uses less Ram also that's why it is smoother. Also has free music and movie download.

Why not topup RM270 to get Mi3, even better proc snapdragon 800. We could go on on you know

Price-wise RedMi Note is a more suitable comparison than 1S.
