QUOTE(coklatua @ Jul 27 2014, 12:56 AM) Yeah, I try off wifi and 3g disable it will get crash. Found the solution, can try activate the ram expander without 3g and wifi first. After it activate, then only you can toggle 3g and wifi on/off. but will it auto start the ram expander ? how do I check if it run ? beside at show notification maybe it got cache ?

To enabled auto start, you enable it in the app and I also add the app to the auto start in security app. Then, when you reboot the phone, it will autorun the swap. The ram expander will appears in the notification bar. Ermm, I also doesn't understand much how this app works actually. I just use it. Lol.

IF i recall correctly , SiM 1 supports our local 3G while SIM 2 doesnt , only run on EDGE . Quite common for china dual sim phones , they have their network there which is different from ours

If u buy China TD-SCDMA version, it will only works with 2G on SIM1, no 3G support. If WCDMA version can support our local/global 3G SIM1 for 3G SIM2 2G only

QUOTE(DannyOP @ Jul 25 2014, 11:40 AM) http://en.miui.com/download-226.htmlclick on the china one, then choose english language during setup. You will notice the phone a lot smoother and faster after that. May I know what problem did you experience with the Global ROM that is fixed in the China ROM? I thought China's network is different? Can use China ROM? Still can download Google Play store and other google apps in China ROM? Is this (http://en.miui.com/thread-11242-1-1.html) how you install rom? no extra step required? any problem? The guide seems very easy. No root required? (I'm newbie. Will be first time flashing rom). This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Jul 27 2014, 11:33 AM

Before u install the updater software will ask u to backup your system. Backup then only install. U will have Google Play as before. The China rom uses less Ram also that's why it is smoother. Also has free music and movie download.

How about things like reset to factory default after updating? Is there a need for that?

Received my 1s yesterday. Surprised they do delivery on a Sat, by a guy in a pte car?
After playing with the phone for a day, I can tell you the issues with it.
The choice of languages in the phone (local M'sian version) is limited to: US English, UK English, Melayu and Chinese. So if you are intending to buy this phone as a gift for an overseas friend, forget it.
In the Honor 3C, there is a staggering choice of 44 languages, including Arabic, French, Spanish, Vietnamese and so on.
