Yup, using 1S at the moment. Simple browse internet also have felt the faint of heat. Even worst when playing game. Ram usage also bad, have to kill app from time to times to free the ram. Maybe if root, you can remove unnecessary app hogging the ram.

So my opinion, better take redmi note compare to 1S. Will try to compare with Honor 3C next few days.

By the way, I managed to test the redmi 1s in Low Yat this afternoon, I feel the camera autofocus is better than my Mi3.. it doesn't get off focus easily like the one on Mi3..and the build is like you are holding a non-sub 500 phone..but it is a lil bit heavier. Screen is also nice even it is not a full hd. maybe the screen size is quite small compares to Mi3

And if i want to root, any website / forum / video tutorial to show step by step. I guess root android is some kind like jailbreak.

I can't spot a different..put both on Auto, and brightness slider on the center, almost identical.
Not sure if under a bright light/outdorr..didn't get a chance to test

And does all the mi smart phone using the same ips screen? I mean are they just the size and reso is difference? I see youtube review redmi 1s screen is a little bit white compared to mi3, or maybe just the light reflection factor. I never got chance to test the real phone, everyone is talking about xiaomi but i never see xiaomi

Just want to ask if anyone here have applied the screen protector from Xiaomi. There are two different pieces of SP, two came in the clear plastic and one came with the blue sticker. Since I cannot read the Chinese instruction, I do know which one to use or apply both???? What is the use of that piece of blue sticker??? Sifus here can help.

Went to FedEx to collect my 1S. Been anticipating this phone despite been using Mi3 for 3weeks & pass on to my wife.

Need the dual sim for work SIM & Personal SIM at in one phone.

Just had fully charge the phone, install all necessary apps, got both SIM running & 32GB SD Card.

Checked the update, there is a stable version available. Gonna update before head back to bed.
