have you guys receive it? especially from penang.
my redmi 1s got hold in bayan lepas area and was told that this hold is due to request from fedex and xiaomi agreed to it.

next delivery date is 31 July.

UPS Penang started to deliver since Tue. Got mine by 2pm Tue, some received yesterday.

RAM management could be better but with all those settings/features on it's going to be heavy. disable or remove Gapps/apps you don't need and it will be good.

Not everyone likes to install different rom. You don't expect everyone to buy a hardware and learn to flash rom themselves. Besides that, many are stuck with slow and limited internet.
There are many non-techie guys and gals out there who want "it-just-works" concept. Buy and use.
