Can find piston/conrod at chopshop. But be prepared to get chopped as well. Ayam guessing the price you get those will be around 300~500 at the least. Plobrem is, after the overhaul, whether can last oso dunno. All jiu can do is pray that your pomen know his shit, or you may ended up pay a bomb and drive a crap. Why not ask your pomen give you a full quotation to fix it up. Usually they got jalan to find those parts geh, where got pomen go ask customer find parts geh sleep.gif

The truth is, if you find part by your own, no doubt can get about 10~20% cheaper compare to pomen quoted price, but be prepare to get slaughter by pomen lar since you buy your own part. Say if you let pomen earn that 10~20% from sparepart, usually they give a reasonable labor charge. However though, if you bring your own part go pomen, mahem sure they slit your throat when came to labor charge. So pandai nah, sendiri cari part for me nah, tibai normal overhaul labor I cas 600, now ayam gonna cas 1000, magahai lu. So, this is the usual situation lor

Jiu go get the full quotation dulu, ask pomen find part for yiu. Normal ganjil injin oberhol around 1k, which is reasonable. With your current situation, if include piston/conrod should be slightly touching 1.5k. If your pomen quote anything below or slightly touching 1.5k for the complete job, then yes save the trouble of engine swap. However, if quotation is above 1.5k, seriously you really need to consider change engine liao.

What I meant is, just take out the old engine block and head. Replaced it with a 660 engine kosong. Basically exhaust manifold, intake manifold everything can be use back from the 850. Do not need to redo wiring.

1) When driving up to 80kph, can heard whining sound like "Ngong ngong ngong ngong ngong" usually is wheel bearing. Front more expansive 100~120. Rear 50~80. Jack the car up, roll the wheel with bear hand. Use another hand hold on the esoba and feel whether there's grinding sensation, if yes means that wheel's bearing koyak. Do to the all 4 corners to identify which 1 rosak.
2) When detect whining sound even the car was not running, stay on the ground pumping gas pedal also can hear whining sound, either camshaft bearing/aircond compressor/alternator bearing. Other than camshaft bearing, dont fix until fully rosak. Not worthy.
3) Vibrate alot when idling, the only thing I can think of is engine mountings.
4) Ticking sound from engine, like "tit tit tit tit tit" or "tek tek tek tek tek" usually is tepet noise. Not to worry too much, as long engine oil cukup, can drive then ok liao. If the noise really kenot tahan, go ask magician tighten the tepet. I suggest you NOT do it, usually thats where the magician lay his knife to slit your throat! Open rocker cover, Oh!!! Yiu see!!! Dalam ady built sludge! Time to oberhol! Ohhh!!!! Yiu see! Taiming belt start to krak jor! Ohh!!!! Valve bengkok!!! Ohhh this oohhhh that! And what left for you is hailut.com.my. To identify whether it is really tepet noise, use a screw driver, point the screwdriver on the rocker cover and use your ear to listen to the screw driver.
5) When konaring baru got sound like "krak krak krak krak", the faster u konar, the krak sound krak faster, that 1 is driveshaft bearing koyak. Price forgot jor.

You'll have to identify the above all before send to pomen. Otherwise, you'll still kena potong regardless.

Meaning when you drive, it will have whining sound? When lift the gas pedal no more whining sound? If that's the case, it's not wheel bearing so small matter. It's related to gebox sudah hmm.gif MT or AT? If MT easier, drive ur kar up to 80kph, then hit the clutch pedal and listen see whether still got whining sound. If the whining sound continue, means kon9lan7fem bearing. If accelerating no sound, hit on the clutch baru got grinding noise, then it's clutch bearing. If accelerating got sound, but hit the clutch no sound... hailut.com.my. Dogs are dying. Prepare for gebox oberhol(change anor 1 even easier I guess).

As for the ticking sound, if it's minor then leave it be. Drive until u hear Klak klak noise bery loud baru consider get it changed. Anyway, got sound means problem kambing, if not now means later jor. I sarjes yiu send to known tayarchop & get them checked. Who knows ayam wrong, may not be drisab plobrem? Manatau its the discberak cover sudah senget kena grind with the disc rotor bila pusing steering?

Seriously, ON LINE troubleshoot a kar is the stupidest thing can do. What I can offer is OFF LINE knowledge. Cainis old saying goes, die horse treat like live horse(死马当活马医). I can't see I can't feel, I don't know whether it's really what I imagine from the way you DESCRIBE the problem. So, take it with a pinch of salt lar nod.gif

Anti roll bar coffin bush (RM10x2)
Anti roll bar drop link bush (RM45x2)
Lower arm bush (RM130/side)
Tie rod end bush (RM60/side)
Damper strut mounting bush (RM60/side)
Spring seat bush (RM40/side)
Disc brake caliper pin (RM18x2/side)
Front damper a.k.a esoba (RM130x2)

Any 1 of the above(or more than 1 anyone time) could have caused suspension noise. As for a pin point assessment, u need to send to magician to konlanfem. Cant possibly sms a doctor say my stomach got sound, what's wrong ar? :lol:

Cheapex full set around RM700 bao gah liao installation. Most ekzos shop ada standby. Piap Paip besi, but belakang tabong sure stainless steel lah, bagi chantek mar.

May be shift link misaligned only. Can try to get magician to tweak it abit to see whether it works. If not, baru consider change gebox.

Find another reliable mechanic. Mine just left his company and sourcing for new shop lot to start his own workshop, so weren't able to provide you solution at the moment. That also consider if you're in Klang valley region. Do update us the outcome. thumbup.gif
