The sales person did mention the diamond more sparkling (rainbow colour) is due to sacrifice the cutting to achieve it.. thus it not 3EX, with 3EX it will not achieve that kind of result..

but based on above 3 GIA mention, which is more preferable?

Lololololololol. OMFG. Sacrifice on cut to achieve performance. While I can agree on the steeper crown to achieve better fire, but FFS, it only manage to achieve a Very Good cut. You can find diamonds that steep but still within 3EX range.

And what the hell. That price?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lolololol.

Let's see what I can achieve... I can get you something like 0.53ct E VS1 Triple Excellent with Faint Fluorescence at around RM 7000. Ring starting from RM 1499 and can custom to what you want.

And that 0.36ct??????? I have a 0.41ct 3EX E VVS2 selling at RM 4700. Add on design starting from RM 1499. Design with side diamonds starting from RM 1999. It is less than 7k! And I am not even the cheapest to begin with, but the diamond quality is good. Check out my page:

Usually Wah Chan and Lazo price is cheap. Some said Habib too. You can also consider promotions run by Zcova or Tailored Jewel.

Please be reminded I am just seeing based on proportions only. Actual cut quality we won't know without viewing through the Hearts and Arrows scope. All of the shops should have these and they cna at least show you the arrows from the top. Hearts usually can't show because usually the diamonds are mounted.

Personally, I won't get any of these.

While I no longer keep myself updated on the latest diamond prices, close to RM7,800 for a 0.36 F VVS2 EX VG VG stone is outrageous. Perhaps you are paying more for the clarity, I don't know. You can get a bigger and better diamond elsewhere.

As mentioned by kambing, these designs can be found in your average jewellery stores. No offense, but some look ugly, especially this.



But I have to say that ring design is something very subjective, most important is you like what you see.

Try to look at Zcova promotion. RM 5800 0.4ct E VVS2 GIA Triple Excellent. If that stone you showed earlier is from ZCOVA, ask them for other options too...

OR... you can consider the ONLY stone I am selling at RM 4700. Get it set at Memory Jewellery at RM 1499 for simple Solitaire. Negotiate abit with them may reduce the price a little. Total RM 6199 or less.
