1) Most of the builds here are for gaming, which is not heavily processor dependant. A Core i5-4440 would suffice. But since you're emphasizing on coding/programming with some lighter games, a better processor would suit you.
2) Not really. We like to push for AMD GPUs, especially the 290. But under 1K budgets it's hard to find a card good as the GTX760.
3) yes, the SSD would help with programmes like programming. Gaming it's mostly help decrease loading time

Here is your build:

CPU-Intel Xeon E3 1230 V3-RM779
Mobo- Gigabyte GA - H87-D3H RM389
Memory-Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB Kit (4GBx2) 1600Mhz RM279
GPU - PALIT GeForce® GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual (2048MB GDDR5) RM569
SSD-Samsung 840 EVO 128GB RM300
HDD-1TB WD Blue RM 189
PSU- Seasonic M12-II 620W RM359
ODD-liteon 24x DVD/RW-RM59
Casing - Corsair Spec - 03 RM205
Cooling - Cooler Master TCP 612 CPU Cooler RM189

Total: RM3317.

You may get a cheaper Cooler Master heatsink if you feel you want to cut back, or get the Seasonic S12-II 620W @ RM299 as well. Stick to this PSU so in the future you can upgrade your graphics without much hassle.

Unable? Where did you go and buy? Linglong should have all three.

Well, you can swap with any other GTX750 Ti variations, PSU you can get the S12-II 620W @ RM299, and casing you can look at the NZXT Source 210 @ RM159.

HyperX Genesis is the faster one here as it has a lower CAS latency. It is also slightly pricier.

According to Anandtech, the 1866MHz CL9 are the sweet-spot RAMs in terms of price/performance.

hmm

c-zone listed the fury 4gb at RM155

while the genesis (it says 1866c9/1866c11 hyper-x so i assume its genesis), is 299 for 2x4gb

so genesis is faster, and cheaper in this case...did they priced it wrongly or what

lingloong's pricelist also indicates roughly the same for the 1866c9 RAMs (RM329). hmm.gif I think it's correct. The 8GB x 2 kit for 1866c11 is RM629 at C-Zone.

I would say any of this 4 casing above would do. The AeroCool Strike X-Predator X1 does come with rubber grommet though. thumbup.gif
