I was thinking the same things that eventually I won't OC my company PC and end up a rice-cooker.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I think will take the extra DVD Drive as he remind me one things, IDE things, since I'm not sure now a days MoBo still got IDE port or not. So what do you think?
btw, additional 12cm fan put where?
*
You can get SATA to IDE converter for less than RM20.

There is extra fan slots inside the case. PC these days needs 1 intake, 1 exhaust for better cooling.

It's harder to future proof with your budget for the apps you use. When I see Sony Vegas, instantly quad core is minimum.

Core i5-4460 - RM569
Asrock B85M-HDS motherboard - RM239
Kingston 8GB DDR3-1600 x1 - RM244
Sapphire R7 265 2GB DDR5 Dual-X - RM539
WD Blue 1TB hard disk - RM174
FSP Hexa+ 550W power supply - RM169
Thermaltake V3 case - RM129

RM2063 total

Yes, it's worth it. You get additional 1GB video RAM and extra performance.

760 is weaker than the 280, better get 770. The 770 is on par with the 280.

What? The 760 or 280 and 770?

If it's the Asus 760 they're many versions from RM 800+ - RM 900.

The R9 280 and the 770 is RM 1199+
