QUOTE(Clem1982 @ May 15 2014, 10:33 AM) why would you wanna WC a GTX750Ti?? the card is not a very hot card to begin with.. can't think of anything other than bling... cause if you want performance there's always the Gtx760 mini Nothing wrong with keeping your card under 45℃. But yeah, it's mostly for bling. Option for people with budget rigs to build a WC system. |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ May 15 2014, 03:06 AM) You mean the Core i5-4670? Well, simple. Most if the rigs here requested are for gaming. So resources are mostly allocated towards a powerful GPU, with the occasional SSD. Why? Having a Core i7-4770K or a Core i5-4440 as a processor has very minimal impact to your gaming capabilities. Unless your specifically requested high cpu demand power computing rigs, then we a're more likely to give a Core i5-4440/Gigabyte 290 combo than a 4770K/GTX760 Setup. I like your answer! Thank you! Now I am one step closerHere's an example. ![]() So whether you even have an old 2500K, doesn't matter. Gaming has little bearing on how your gaming performance is going to be, at most 3-5fps tops. See where the crazy expensive 3960X is? It's not at the top. |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ May 15 2014, 03:10 AM) Oh btw guys, you can actually build a super budget WC setup. Get a basic XSPC kit, add this to your 750Ti and you'll have the ultimate budget WC build. Not sure this is the right thread for this. Should I buy those NAS like synology or build one? I have an old desktop case and 1.5 TB of old storage that I can salvage from it. SATA of first generation I think? If needed to build one, can reckon a specs?
I'm looking for something to download torrents, store all necessaries media. Video will definitely take the bulk. I wish to have secure access to certain folders for work (it's true, this forms the bulk) or porn (isn't it obvious?). |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ May 15 2014, 03:23 PM) Lol you're welcome. One step closer to? Building a new rig? I hope that frees up more funds for your GPU rather than getting a high end CPU. Haha. yeah building a rig...i dont wanna ask the same question like the others...RM2.5-3k etc, better go through the forum. I understand there's a difference between open GL and Direct X, I am aiming for gaming and photoshop most of the time, sometimes AutoCAD. any suggestions? I am looking for RM500 - RM1000 depending on range and reliability (of course, with i5 4440 that can cope with it). RAM just use normal value for money RAM? Why not those ultimate blah blah? Mobo, another headache, things like Asrock B85M-Pro4 does not come with Wifi support...anything with it? |

It's not "possible" to cope i5 with 1k budget. Huehuehue. Yes RAM just use Value RAM. Performance RAM has like...very very minimal increase in FPS... Unless you wanted bling bling. Built in wifi? Just get Wifi Card.any suggestions? I am looking for RM500 - RM1000 depending on range and reliability (of course, with i5 4440 that can cope with it). RAM just use normal value for money RAM? QUOTE(abemin @ May 15 2014, 05:48 PM) Hi, GPU I'd Rather take Gainward GTX 750. It's small and powerful than the 250X. Cost RM 420 if I'm not mistaken. PM Lingloong. He carries it. Other than that... PSU can go for a Antec VP-450w for more headroom to it. Cost RM 129 I believe. And the 110 seems to support Standard ATX PSU.I'm going to build HTPC.
