Skyrim, D3, Witcher.
Using photoshop quite often. Latest version of PS is running quite slow on my XP and After Effect is not supporting XP anymore, thus planning to upgrade a bit.
Moreover XP is already reached it's EOL.

CPU:Intel Core i5 4440 3.1GHz RM569/Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 3.3GHz RM799
Mobo:Asrock B85 Killer RM299
RAM:Kingston KVR 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RM124
PSU:Antec VP-550P RM199
Total:RM1191/1421
Prices are from Viewnet.

You can try to sell your CPU around 300 and the Motherboard around 120 *depends on condition*.With that extra money from selling it,can also consider the Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 RM799.It helps in Photo and Video editing cause it has more cores. Included a better PSU with higher wattage so you can just get a new GPU in the future without upgrading the PSU. smile.gif
If your casing isn't ATX,just change the Mobo to Asrock B85M-Pro4 RM279

If you've not tried SSD before, go for one if your budget allows. You won't regret it. Word of caution, once you go SSD, you'll never go back to regular HDD again. brows.gif

Is it possible to put R9 290 in 3k budget?
I got Corsair TX750 PSU, and ODD. So both of this wont be needed unless that PSU is bad.

So far i found it to be good.
