Dei, wat is dis magical world of disney crap?! Its like checking out a chick with a hot body, scrolling up then going "butter face" doh.gif

And everybody is being politically correct saying "modeled after 1963/1964 vintage instruments" instead off "cloned off a pre-CBS Fender Strat"  sweat.gif

what is funny tho is that guitar has both the flaws of fender and PRS

it has 7.25 radius which means you get that old vintage playability that everyone hates
it has an angled headstock so you wont get that fender neck never breaks
a 6 screw vintage saddle fender vintage bridge but not exactly, so you cant fit any aftermarket or any fender bridges in it.
all the parts are PRS so you have to pay premium for it
i wonder if hte finish will cloud and fade like a PRS

lol

it's uglier than an EG for sure.

another props for Leo Fender and the team back at the 50s/60s, they got the design right from the start.

50 years on and what do we get? PRS strat wannabe, weird ass Gibson models..zzz

neither do i, but its one of the biggest complaints about fender, enough for them to phase it out

i think only a handful of guitars have them now, not even the new original series (rebranded AVRI) has 7.25

flatter radius would probably be easier to sell, or they can just lower the price tongue.gif

just abit sad to see that tradition goes

i got my first taste on a classic 60s mex strat with 7.25" radius in a swap deal with my ibanez

thing is hard to play, but then that's how i got the blues biggrin.gif

yup thumbup.gif altho it's not really possible to engage or disengage individual effects as you play or switch presets unless you have a hand instead of feet. however it is designed to be that way anyways, to be part of your pedal board. satisfied purchase haha. The effects that im using : EQ, analog delay(selected to be toggled) and spring reverb.

it wuold appeal to more folks la, funny you mention price, in a strange turn of events the F&G are now the reasonably priced brands now. the other day in swee lee, was a LP studio i think a special model, contoured heel, 1 pc figured mahogany body, great workmanship, for 6k. hell these days 6k gets you an ibanez premium je. the world now we live in upside down dy.

i think you can buy with the "classic" models or the FCS ones, but ya i think not a lot of folks are missing em

speaking of the JM PRS, Johnson has a new strat this year and that looks miles better

- thinline strat
- flat 12 radius
- soft V
-nitro

2k usd

its essentially a thinline version of his current signature.
that also 12", V, nitro, usd1.9k.
and as specs suggest, also feels like a gibson due to the slightly bigger than traditional frets.
