I realize that male's nails are longer and sharper than female's nails.

Just clipped Benben and Sasa's nails. Now they cannot climb properly biggrin.gif
I dun wanna try using sandpaper since their hands is so soft. Try to make them hold a mealworm with one hand - distracted, then clip their nails. That works for me.

As for me, my babies cannot touch the bedding. Coz separated with the metal thing. biggrin.gif Yes I know what you're talking about.

Reason is to prevent my babies from eating the bedding (i.e. Sugre's babies) sweat.gif

nail file.

i don't use the metal bedding. when i was using the wood shavings the gliders sumtimes burrow in the woodshavings. no prob.

but I stopped using wood shavings because when everytime got ants I have to change the entire bedding. quite wasting so I just use newspaper and an old t-shirt/pillow case.

Better dun use those small small cage lor.. they need more freedom to jump around. But dun simply buy cage la... if you find you dun have budget to buy a cage for your gliders then just use temporary hamster cage. When you save enough, then buy a big cage for them thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Late in saying this... but smellyocheese you did a great job wth the new thread. Very informative, I likey likey thumbup.gif

Yes Sui Teng my babies eat the bedding at the bottom of their cage. But now that is not so worrisome. They make loads of noise at night, from their playing. When they are wrestling, one of them will fall and hit the bottom of the cage with a load "bam". Then when they run overzealously on the wheel they fly out and "bam" again. Then when they are on me and do their jumping to the cage or anywhere...they miss cue sometimes and land real hard. Will they break anything? They are so small....
