Try not to give baby milk. Most SG don't touch it.

To mix, use the standard mix - that's the best, since it's sweet and nurishing at the same time.

After you get the mix, you can mix the mix with some gerber's baby apple food too, and for the banana keep it in slices since they need fresh fruit too.

For baby gliders use softer fruits, like papaya, banana or peach. Apple they love it too, but they'll only lick it... unless you buy those softer variants. Mine won't touch orange at all.

Hello SG Lovers,

I wish to learn more about taming of Sugar Glider, as i've brought back a SG which is not tame to a friend, this SG is not tame as she is already an adult. Although my friend do requested an adult, but she thought she might be able to tame her, but somehow her own SG is far too tame, hence she demanded me to find another owner for the SG.

Well i'm the one who bring back the SG and i felt bad about that, if any of you guys interested in the SG, you can refer to my signature, there is a thread.

But at the mean time, while i look for an owner, i thought it might be good for me to learn a trick or 2 regarding taming an SG, juz incase i might need to take care of the SG.

Thanks a lot in advance.

IMHO, show the SG who's da boss tongue.gif laugh.gif doh.gif joking only. Anyway if you can be with the wild SG for like everyday even during your office time. I guess it could be tamed as like the young joeys only thing is that they are a few steps lower from being really tamed like those tamed while young.

Gaining their trust is a huge job to do. If you can achieve that, it beats the rest.

GoOd luck in trying thumbup.gif

Well, when spending time with the SG rite? What should we do? And what should we aware of since she is not a tame one?

If me, prolly spend as much as I can. I bring it to work, to shopping, to anywhere. But make sure that your pouch is safe. Occasionally stroke it once in a while. Should be fine by then, say in a few weeks. As long as he suggie knows you are the provider of food and water. They will depend on you from that time onwards.

Look at the first post of this thread. There's pictures for you to see so you have a rough idea on the pouch. Basically to save cost, just get from Hinode Shop or 100Yen Shop. icon_rolleyes.gif
