it depends on wat type of skills u use, each attribute will have a number of skills under it and a few will be unlinked skills that doesnt required attribute

so see wat type of skills u use, and put points into the corresponding attribute, since going wammo, make ur weapon attrib highest, strenght around 9 should be ok, some into healing prayer so dat u can get decent healing, if u dun use any other skills with different attrib thn put more in to strenght and the rest into healing

Make sure that ur attrib meets ur weapon's requirement to get the intended damage of the weapon.

Hey , I am new to GW
today i go to my local game store ..
the store keeper told me that i only need the Guild Wars: Factions
to play it

Do i need to buy the original GW ??

no u dont, both are prophecies and faction are stand alone game, but it doesnt hurt to have both since u get more skills to choose from if u ve both

So can i buy only faction to play it ?

you don have 6 slots of character to play if you don have the original one and you cannot go to the prophencies land if you only buy the factions.

You won't get to play Tyrian missions, explore Sorrow's Furnace and Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings.

and u oso dun get prophecies onli skills, even though some are duplicated in faction but not all of them

I'll see to it, but its hard to leave my own guild. I'll wisper to one of you if i change my mind. By the way, i just bought Faction for my other account at Midvalley, a sidetrip on my way to Penang for vacation. .... And i'm now here on my desk.... open it carefully like handling a Monalisa portrait..... savouring the taste

Ok which clan got the best support. I coming in and join the battle, hopefull within end of this month . But only 20 lvl, So Lvling won't be hard? or long grind like WoW (lvl 60)

clan???..if you mean luxon or kurzicks..then i think kurzicks are more popular as their armor are more cooler..hehe..however, you can switch to the other clan at any time..

lvling in this game are basically non-existent..which is both the beauty and to some, disadvantages of this game..if you do all of the quests in this game..you basically achieve lvl 20 in a blink of an eye..

I chose the wrong 2ndary profession by mistake... any way to change it again...

If you're in Prophecies, you can change it in Augary Rock(i think) and if you're in Faction, there's a guy who can change yout secondary class at Senji's Corner

join the luxon haha so that i dun have to wait so long for the game to start

if by battle u mean alliance battle thn u can easily create a pvp character for it, no need to wait for u normal char to get to lvl 20

if u r in faction u can get to lvl 20 b4 u touch the main land, if prophecies thn it takes longer

I managed to cross the sea to the mainland in Faction, oh boy, and i'm still lvl16, left out some quest havent do, the mobs there are no joking matter...

really hard to play alone man.

You should try to get to lvl 20 first. Most of the enemies on the mainland are lvl 20 and above so it should be difficult for you if you are lower than that. I recently am playing a mesmer and after completing the Shing Jea island, I went to Tyria (GW:P) to lvl my character up to 20. Only then did I move to the Canthan mainland.

hmmm.. currently i left 2-3 quest for Shing Jea Island... dunno can nab that 3+ levels or not...

if u do every quest in shing jea + the 2 attribute quest and master in both mission u should be around 18 or 19, do a few easy quest in cantha, n u should hit 20 in no time

btw when u get to market place u should run to kaineng straight away to get more quest, and oso u can get max armor there
