If not mistaken he already spend about RM1.8K ohmy.gif

He still required some accessories that I think he will spend more than RM2K already whistling.gif

nothing wrong with S3... if u opt for dslr.. body (350d with kit lense = rm2599).. u might consider additional battery .. n.. wide angle lense, tele, prime, and the list continue

i only migrate to dslr end of this year (my ministry of finance didn't approve my budget) after i found that my s3 can not due what i want to do..

as for now.. i'm damn happy with it

At first before buying S3 I think like you. Thinking getting the S3 is more than enough since we are not pro. I have high expectation on this camera on quality pic. Even the review say this camera is good. Once I got from the first day I was so happy & excited. After using a month I sold off my S3. Maybe I have too high expectation on S3 resulted me sell of this S3 to get DSLR.

I just point one cons about the S3 I don't like. The sensor sxxk in low light environment. The sensor have difficulty in tracing the object you wanted to focus on especially in Macro mode. My company using Canon A700 & I use it to compare with my S3 in taking pic in same environment. The result A700 perform mush better in taking pic in low light & using Macro mode. A700 have no problem in tracing the object I want to focus on & S3 feel like it will take for ever to focus on the object I wanted & is very frustrated.

Sorry all S3 users here. Just my bad experience in using this cam. Don't shoot me ya notworthy.gif
