Then why don't you try iTalk with Mobile? Maybe that is their objective.

The rates are below:
Fixed->Fixed - 10sen/min
Fixed->Mobile - 15sen/min
Mobile-> Mobile - 25sen/min

Today newspaper Star has a trade-in advertisment for Celcom user.

Video capable phone only sell at RM199. The lowest is RM99. 3G phone only 599.

I called Celcom careline and they told me can trade in any kind of handphone for the stated price. Don't know true or not.

I think the trade-in value of your phone depends on the phone that you have. It would be better to call the shops which are listed in the advertisement and ask them personally. You might be surprised that your phone value is very low; better sell to your friend who is interested and you might get better price.

As I always mention, use iTalk Mobile if the number is not in your 8pax list. Calls from mobile to mobile nationwide are only 25sen/min and they charge in 20 second block. You pay less than 10% compared to calling directly.

Can I just ask what is the "credit limit" in celcom's post-paid plans?
Does it mean I can use up to that limit and still pay the fixed monthly fees?

"Credit limit" means you can use up to that amount BUT you still have to pay your bills on time even if it is under the "credit limit". If I'm not mistaken, they will bar your line if you don't pay for more than 2 months even if you are still under the credit limit.

They have better coverage in Sarawak than either Digi or Maxis. In my office, there is no Digi coverage and I use Celcom because in my kampung also got Celcom. Most places in Sarawak now have Celcom coverage but not so for Digi or Maxis. Even in Sematan town where the population is quite large, there is no Digi or Maxis coverage but only Celcom.

Celcom promotions is however way behind Digi though and if not because of the coverage, I would have switched.

The one I have is valid for 2 years!!! The validity is based on the expiry date at the back of the card. Can call using any TM public phone without using coins. For homeline use, can chit chat with your boyfriend/girlfriend without the amount going into the bill and it is much cheaper at 10sen/min to fixed and 15sen/min to mobile nationwide!

Can also reload using Ring Ring Card.

However, if you use from mobile, your network access must still be valid.
