1) Can you connect?
2) What number do you key in the dial up page?
3) What phone brand & model are you using?

PS - I am using the Celcom 3G Unlimited package with a Nokia 6280. I find the USB Cable connection better (less problems) than the USB Bluetooth (which hangs often). Connection speeds are quite close to the maximum i.e. 384K.

1) i cannot connect. in the connection setting wizard, it just say that "the process took too long" FYI i can set up new connection with ease using digi. so i dont think the phone is not recognized.

2) no number. since i cannot go pass the wizard.

3) im using SE K750i

i called the helpline already and they said that i have to edit my setting remotely (provided my phone connected to the pc). ill try that and update here later

any other ideas guys?

thanx

I registered mine long time ago. I can send free SMS to any 019 numbers as long as I am in front of my computer.

I have also sent SMS from the email to 013 numbers and it gets received within less than 30 seconds. The format for sending email to Celcom SMS is 013XXXXXXX@sms.celcom.net.my.

Does anyone know the format to send emal to SMS for Digi and Maxis?

about this promotion. I already called the Celcom Careline, just want to double check with you guys before i make the leap of faith. Within the 24 month of repayment, do i need to pay extra RM99 for the unlimited 3G plan in addition to the instalment? Thanx

If I remember correctly and based on their webpage, the unlimited 3G plan is already included in the monthly installment. After finishing the installment, then you start paying for the RM99.

Very tempting I must say,

Actual we pay
219.90 X 24 = RM5277.6

Actual value
The unlimited data plan = RM99 X 24 = RM2376
Data Card (IIANM) = RM1200
which mean the laptop only cost RM1701.60

What do you guys think... any catch?

hi guys... i kinda want to change my line to celcom postpaid... the plans that i am considering are the C250 & C500... i did some calculations on my own... exactly on the exact fees that i need to pay for each month...

let say that i only use within the package (RM 50 for C250 & RM 80 for C500)... so, i have to only pay the monthly package value + 5% govt tax is it?

i hope to get response from you guys who are using the Celcom Minutes Postpaid C250 or C500...

are there any hidden cost? i heard that you have to pay some extra charges for the 1st 5 months of the service? is it true?

what is pro-rated package value cost, advanced pv, staggered 1st month advanced pv, adjusment on 1st month advance pv? sorry for the long questions... i kinda want to get info from actual users before i go to celcom salesman... icon_question.gif drool.gif
