3. I tried the app on my Nexus 7 and I managed to load the channels. At the same time, I tried it on my Q16 and the channels were taking forever to load. I don't have any problems opening the app but the streams don't load at all.

Before 1.1.5, the TVAPP is it working before ?

Yes, it was working fine. I believe there's no way to use an old version of TVAPP as the app forces you to update when you launch it.

this is strange...

i let it update to 1.1.5 and it worked same like before.

only diff i see is a tvapp logo now at the bottom left of screen.

maybe u can try - remove app, reinstall.

I install TVAPP.SO 1.1.5 on 3 unit Q16 Quad, all with 1.0.9 firmware.
2 unit are working, which is previously installed and upgrade from TVAPP.SO 1.1.3 version; I newly install another unit for my friend on last Saturday which is fresh install 1.1.5 (previously no TVAPP.SO on this unit) and i never test after installed since previous 2 unit are working, and my friend call me later that night said the TVAPP.SO i install fro him are not woking, it will stay on the channel name/list but nothing comes out, he tried both Unifi and Maxis fibre n result are same, and already try with Google DNS and China DNS both are same either. Maybe need to completely uninstall and clear all related files etc then try a fresh install download directly from official site with that unit of Q16 with browser and see how.... (current problem unit are install from USB)

Hello guys. I think the problem is solved after switching from Ethernet to WiFi. The streams now load properly. Weird problem indeed.

yr experience reminds me of showbox. during a certain period, that was what i found - ethernet not ok, wifi ok - using same dns. after a couple of weeks, it reverted to normal, both ok. no idea why...

Yeah. The IP addresses of the DNS servers are configured on the router itself.

Is there any major difference in performance between Q16 dual and quad core?

I'm buying it for my parents to stream some english show and maybe some taiwan/hk show (Most likely through Kodi for english show and PPS/any recommended app/add-on for TVB and Taiwan show like kangxi), is H8 sufficient?

Bro, SKYHD already renamed to HDMovies, the APK file is in my Skydrive. Just install HDMovies, there is no conflict.

After TVAPP force upgrade to version 1.1.5, it keep on loading infinitely. Still have no idea what is happening, the weird is some customer's Q16 still working fine with TVAPP version 1.1.5.

i reconfirm with unifi, my q16 firmware 1.0.9 after forced update to tvapp 1.1.5 is fine with the app.

been watching it everyday.

in addition, skyhd is working good.

finally, kodi/iptv stalker is back in action 100%.

I try to install iptv stalker but isn't available when I reach till Video add-ons......could you tell me where I did wrong??

just to share a few things...

1. about tvapp.so...
mine is working good like before.
but i had this "ethernet no good but wifi good" for showbox again!
something is curious since this kind of behavior has been seen in 2 apps now - tvapp and showbox.
what is more curious is it happens to some and not to others.
probably some "local" issue?
will be good if there is an explanation for it.

2. another thing i like to share.... if you experience "unfortunately xyx has stopped working", simply refused to continue...
i experienced that with showbox just now.
solution - go to settings/apps and clear cache, clear data.
restart the app, will be fine.
this also works for apps that seem not to work smoothly sometimes.
e.g. kodi and puding in my experience.

3. skyhd->moviehd works good.
there is no online app update; just remove and reinstall the app from nicety's drive.

4. not sure if it is due to 1.0.9 firmware but MANGOTV is now working much better than before!

5. lastly, of the many ways to watch english movies - popcorn, moviehd, showbox, genesis (kodi), i find popcorn still the best in terms of video quality.
