I've just bought a HiMedia Q16 Quad Core from nicety after previously getting a HiMedia Q5II from him due to the excellent service he provided.

The delivery was very quick and he set everything up nicely with useful apps.

He's definitely a seller that I would wholeheartedly recommend if anyone is looking for an Android TV box. Not to mention, the product itself is an improvement over the decent Q5II. smile.gif

Hello nicety. I noticed that the firmware version of my box is 1.0.2 while the latest version on your OneDrive is 1.0.4. How do I upgrade the firmware? There's an option to perform a local upgrade in the Settings menu. Can I download the file from your OneDrive and perform the upgrade using that option? Thanks. smile.gif

Hello nicety, I noticed that there's a new firmware version in your OneDrive. May I know what's new with it? Thanks. smile.gif

Hello. It seems that TVAPP.SO 1.1.5 doesn't work with Q16 Quad Core running firmware version 1.0.9. Is anyone else facing the same problem? Thanks. smile.gif

1. UniFi 20Mbps
2. Shah Alam
3. I tried the app on my Nexus 7 and I managed to load the channels. At the same time, I tried it on my Q16 and the channels were taking forever to load. I don't have any problems opening the app but the streams don't load at all.

Hope this helps. Thanks. smile.gif

Yes, it was working fine. I believe there's no way to use an old version of TVAPP as the app forces you to update when you launch it.

Hello guys. I think the problem is solved after switching from Ethernet to WiFi. The streams now load properly. Weird problem indeed.

Anyway, thank you very much for your findings, AVFAN and se3333. smile.gif

I'd like to also express my sincere appreciation to nicety for his initiative in offering his help to me via PM and his excellent after-sales support as usual. smile.gif

Yeah. The IP addresses of the DNS servers are configured on the router itself. smile.gif

Dear Customers,

Just uploaded new app in my skydrive under the sub folder "Free IPTV". Pleas read the Readme file before install, you could add M3U files easily without complex technical steps as Kodi.

Thanks to Jaan76 for maintaining the M3U list.

P/S : If you purchased our box after July, the app already pre-installed.

Hello nicety,

I'm unable to watch anything on my Q16 Quad Core. The streams seem to load but there's no audio and video.

I tried it on my Q5II and it runs perfectly.

Both boxes have MX Player and MX Player Codec (ARMv7) installed.

Do you have any idea why?

Thanks.
