1 channel/primewire has a lot of problems, being blocked and sued by uk gomen - can forget this one.

for video on demand (vod), try genesis which is reasonable.

there was a great addon called iptv stalker. sad news is this one has gone paid iptv service, not working on kodi anymore.

the next best iptv addon is bbts.

actually, my experience with kodi... it is a very powerful platform, impressive, endless possibilities. but over time, i can see many other simpler apps have improved. to the extent that the stuff i used to get in xbmc/kodi i can get them faster and easier elsewhere.

e.g.

english... tvapp.so (with chinese), popcorn, moviehd, mobdro.

chinese... puding, hitv, imgtv (mangotv).

there is more than i can watch!!

Hi all, I am still having problem to load tvapp.so in my Himedia Q16. It keeps loading infinitely and only display channel list. I am using Streamyx 8 Mbps. I tried to load tvapp.so with either LAN cable or wifi. It it still the same...

mobdro is a simple iptv, all in sd. good for int'l news, int'l sports. just google.

this is something unresolved..., puzzling.

my tvapp.so is working very well on Q16.

it is also working very well on the PC.

The APK files are in the Skydrive, just sort by date you will get all the new the APK files.

Please share with me if your TVAPP work, there is weird issue with TVAPP.SO, some does not work and some works well.

Mine TVAPP.SO didn't work either after upgrade.

I have to upgrade to 1.1.5 as if I don't do it, I won't be able to use it.

Also still learning how to use Kodi, am still looking for a working "Disney Junior" channel and Taiwan channels.

Disney Junior could be found in Kodi addons, Taiwan free channels are very rare. I subscribed to CloudTV for Taiwan Channels.

Just uploaded new app in my skydrive under the sub folder "Free IPTV". Pleas read the Readme file before install, you could add M3U files easily without complex technical steps as Kodi.

anyone tried streaming their q16 to a chromecast before? I try to stream but it wouldnt let me, just says connecting then disconnected.

if u like the addon IPTV STALKER, u would hv noticed it is not working anymore.

becos it is going to be a paid service, source removed, the lists not update anymore.

don't lose heart, there's always a way!

not very elegant, but if u follow this, you will basically get all the iptv stalker channels back.

but do it fast as i suspect this page will be removed very soon!

I'm unable to watch anything on my Q16 Quad Core. The streams seem to load but there's no audio and video.

I tried it on my Q5II and it runs perfectly.

Both boxes have MX Player and MX Player Codec (ARMv7) installed.

Do you have any idea why?

if u follow the instructions correctly, it should work.
loading takes about 30 secs.
