is making good profits. Should I exit the fund and take profits first?
what u guys think?

Why do you invest in a UT if you want to take out the profits? might as well be in the stock market if you are doing that, pick a bluechip and ride the uptrend, much cheaper and probably less risky. It's silly to pay someone 2% and then take out when you make a profit. Someone is working for you for free, and you want to fire him when he is doing well? makes no sense lol smile.gif

hmm.. coz i monitored my UT lately. not all make profit. and not all make profit all the time.
I hv not cashed out from any of my UT.. just put in every month.. or as and when.. and
wonder should cash out those that is making good profits first? or maybe do a switching?

Coz never know, later can turn negative again.

If you are using a wrap account, where you get unlimited switch with zero switching fee, I would switch from RHB-OSK Growth & Income Focus Trust to Eastspring Investment Dana Dinamik or Hwang Select Balance or as least RHB-OSK KidSave.

Also, if you are buying CMF for the primary account (funding primary account) make sure you are not on the beneficiary account when you should be on the primary account smile.gif just made that mistake, now I have to sell the CMF from the beneficiary account, and re-buy it from the primary one, that will take a week tongue.gif

I'm planning to buy those more aggressive ones so the movement is a lot faster and sell when there's like a few % of profit (fingers crossed). I don't think there's any penalty if we sell within a short of period of time, like few months...yes?

Looking at Hwang Select Opportunity. But considering the high valuation in our local market, buying in at the moment would not be a wise thing to do... sad.gif

Check to see if there's a min holding period, exit fees etc. But seriously why? you're going to gamble, might as well buy small cap at the stock market. Paying 2% for that kind of risk, doesn't seem to make sense smile.gif

eunittrust having 0% promo...exit fee = 0. I proposed KGF & KGOF...within 3 months..you will get back..RM1500 for RM40k invested..
*
Not familiar with that, but will look into it, thanks smile.gif Btw, that's an overly confident statement on how much we'll get from KGF and KGOF, no? tongue.gif

I haven't tried stock market, that's why I'm not getting into it without any proper guidance, lol

Thanks, RO Player.

I wonder if anyone else went for this eUnittrust since there are a number of funds with zero sales charge? o_O
Why is there not a thread for this site, by the way, lol...I don't wanna risk going off-topic.

Really? Didn't know sweat.gif Initially was thinking of putting in a good amount under FSM...but this 0% promo by eUT is too tempting. Gonna move there instead.

So when we buy a UT fund from eUT, the account is directly under your name or it has same model like FSM?
