I think you are referring to the type of the door lock which use digital panel for password lock/unlock input.

Agreed that the market has slowed down but IOI should continue his promises to build phase 2 of the mall. Check all the banners and advertisements of Conezion, it is only 700 m away from IOI City Mall. It will not be 700 m if phase 2 is not built. Furthermore, it takes time to build a mega mall. If they wait for the market to recover then only build the mall, it will only be ready a few years later which is too late. Quite disappointed with IOI Properties in delaying this project because it has failed to deliver its promise to all the early investors of CLIO and Conezion! I am one of them. sad.gif

Another bad thing is when all are VPed only they build the mall is the chaotic traffics and noises. Hopefully IOI Properties will finalize when to build the mall as soon as possible. sad.gif

If they are building just to fulfill promise but detrimental to the overall growth of the place, then it would be a bad choice to do so.
I do think they should at least explain to investors/buyers. I am more than happy to accept the reason if they have studied and shown that building now will make the overall value of the place worse vs if build later.
Besides that, if they focus on growing the tenants in the commercial area vs trying to fill up both Phase 2 and the commercial area, I rather the focus on the commercial area. The growth of the commercial area will impact the overall appreciation of Conezion rather than Phase 2 actually. Just my 2 cents smile.gif

As a premier developer, they should not stop or delay a mega project due to economy downturn, look at the crazy Eco World. I regard IOI Properties as a reputable developer, thus they should act like one, stick to their plan and build what they have promised else it will be downgraded to ordinary developers, only build when the economy is good and stop whenever it is bad. Ordinary or small developers do not have the cash and holding power to build during bad times but a big and giant developer will just go ahead with their plan because construction takes time, a big boy should not wait but plan cautiously so that they can catch the recovery faster than the others.

From the above links shared by others, phase 1 occupancy rate is close to 100%, I would regard it as very good. For the commercial area in Conezion, it is projected to be ready in this year so I do not think it will compete with phase 2 of the mall because the mall will take at least 2 to 3 years to complete if they start now. Anyway, just my 1 sen la. At the end, it is still tan seri's decision. Just not very happy with their PR because they announced that all the funds had been secured to build phase 2 of the mall and the construction should start at the end of 2016, it is 2017 now but there is still no news and sight of construction going on.

Understood and I respect your concern. I think we can both agree that IOI should at the very least explain for the delay, then we can judge better once we know the reason why. I am merely speculating also.
I also agree that Phase 1's occupancy is very good for a mall at that location, and that should've helped made the decision to start Phase 2 easier, but again, without any proper explanation we'll just speculate and hold them at their earlier promises.

Technically 700m is from Conezion Block C gate to IOI City Mall phase 1 entrance. Should they completed phase 2, it should be around 300+m or less.

or my uncle only got discount when he purchase next ioi property?

Yes, your uncle will get the referral fee if the family member chooses to buy block B or C. If I am not mistaken, there is no referral fee for the new blocks such as D and A. Another important point to take note of is the agents in the ioi gallery. If the family member approaches the agents instead of the ioi staff, your uncle may not get the referral fee also because ioi will only pay one fee either referral or agent.

For the recurring buyer scheme, your uncle will enjoy the discount when he buys the next ioi property.

Personally, I don't think so. There are works in progress all over ground zero, as well as up rising building works. First quarter of 2018 will be the likely date.

To potential buyers, do be alert and make sure you obtain the COMPLETE sales info before making a decision.
There are so many agents to greet you, serve you, only on Blocks B, C, & D. Block A must refer to IOI Prop. FULL TIME employees. Block A has been opened for quite a while, but take up rate still very very low vs. the rest. No any particular negative reasons. The late launching, to me, is a mere marketing strategy to hike up price (by another close to RM20K), pending on the respond to the other 3 blocks of sales results (and overall of >70% sold - to my observation). Furthermore, BlocK A has a clear, direct and non-blocking view towards the golf course (in particular) and the Mall, and a straight line view all the way up to Puteri Condo that corner. Hence, it is priced at a RM20K premium.

Perhaps, we should look at the overall development plan for its land bank @ Putra Jaya, the concept and plans in its entirety is attractive, worth invest or even stay there.

Just back from the site. I agree that the place looks like not going to be ready for opening mid of 2017 but the big banner states clearly mid 2017. Hopefully IOI wont slap their own face again. Now is half of the first quarter of 2017, there is still not a single sign that phase II of the IOI mall has been started. hmm.gif
