sucks.... For below average usage, I start using from 7 am and it will dry off by around 11pm. If you use it regularly (facebooking and web surfing) for few about two hours, you will most probably be left with 30 % battery.

I agree, its not for prolong use.. easily get heated. as u all know heat doesn't work well with battery.

hi.. i'm also a new 930 user here.. after 3 years with lumia 800..
bought at Nokia store at the Curve for RM1499

btw i also feel the battery drain quite fast la.. and also easily feel hot..
is enabling Cortana and double tap feature can also cause this?

i also using nano sim card trim from micro sim.. is that also can cause battery drain?

Cortana and double tap shouldn't drain the battery that much. I used both and my discharge rate is around 5% per hour on idle. But use it for one hour straight it will be 15% per hour.

I also use trimmed sim, I don't observe abnormal battery drain. But I suspect that this kind of sim might cause reception issue which will lead to battery drain as well. I do have interrupted service from time to time.

Wow your 5 % per hours is high, on idle I can reach as low as 1.3% per hour with both features on.
