with the latest denim updates, does 930 has the glance feature?

or still the same, no glance after updates.

930 doesn't have glance by design. It lacks the hardware necessary so it will not be available ever.

If glance is really important for you, the next best thing I can recommend you is 830. Phone itself is pretty good but maybe not so much on high end gaming... something like candy crush can run flawlessly on this phone. but Assassin's Creed Unity companion apps doesn't really run that well, but for what's it worth passable. Angry Birds Epic too but I suspect that's because the Epic is a bunch of unoptimized code rather than it really is heavy to render.

My L930 just got updated with the Denim update and when I take picture with the Lumia Camera app which is also updated, I can no longer Reframe (high resolution) them as freely as I used to.

However, I have the Lumia Camera Classic which if I use this app to take photo I can Reframe (high resolution) them. This app is at the expense of the new Rich Capture mode.

With the new Denim updated feature works that Lumia Camera app is with Rich Capture but without Reframe (high resolution) option.

Any L930 can confirm my experience above? or did you find ways to Reframe your picture in high res.?

Reframe has changed to Lumia Creative Studio I think, just hit edit & select that for reframing & editing.

Found a promo for Lumia 930. Perhaps best time to buy before GST kicks in.

http://bit.ly/StorekiniLumia930

RM1688 and you get some freebies like headphone and powerbank.

I think you can still get the rm1499 deal as long as you are okay with Black or White. That's what the Lowyat Nokia store offered me early this week.

anybody have problems with stutters music playback over bluetooth on Denim now? I'm having this issue on both my L830 and L930. I don't have additional bluetooth speakers/audio to test it other than my car's audio so I can't pinpoint if there's any relation with bluetooth version of the receiver.

When I connect to my car's audio bluetooth, music playback starts automatically (which is good!). but this automatic playback has one flaw, it stutters. This happened on Denim on both L830 and L930. L930 didn't has this issue previously when running on Cyan.

At first I thought the process was bottlenecked by lower tier SoC or SDCard but apparently is not as it also happened on L930. Temporary remedy would be to pause the music outside of music apps (hit volume button > pause on the control), open the music player and play from there, but same issue will come back once the bluetooth disconnected and re-connect.

maybe I should grab another bluetooth version as well to see if it is related to old bluetooth versions and check the bitrate as well. I don't have issue with Spotify as normally Spotify doesn't auto play and I have to specifically go into the apps to start playback which even the default music apps doesn't have problem as well biggrin.gif
