Newbie here.. Will get eb premium cocoa grey hopefully by this week.. Originally ordered the gold one but my sa told me has to wait longer.. Only grey and plum red available.. Something to do with proton limiting the stock for 2014 (this wat the sa told me).. opted for grey instead.. Kenot tahan already.. Need advice of some q..
1. Any specific things to check upon receiving the car? The bag net, remote control for dvd should be included too, no?
2. What gift should I choose? This eb should already come with tinted glass right? Stock tint to clear?

Huhuhu...the ABS light appear just now. Why me so bad luck  Got carwash provide mandi bunga package or not?

Already happened as of 48k km :

oil cooler hose problem ( solved but not satisfied )
aircon actuator malfunction ( solved )
firewall insulator shredded ( solved )
oil control valve ( solved )
both headlamps inside got water (solved)
one of the rear brake light is dim (solved)
air con belt/timing belt squeaking ( i suspect the tensioner, common problem)
fuel lid hard to open (solved)
ABS indicator lit ( i suspect the abs sensor, again common problem )
Rear view mirror very loose, and rear cam blur (solved)

Yet to happens :

the radiator ( waiting for recall  why proton is taking so long )
brake/break switch??
cvt ( i really hope dont kena after warranty over  )

just hope that the radiator can stand long enough till they decided yo make the recall.

Some says offcial recall is on, November 4th, i hope its true. I can send for replace the abs sensor as well

Last time i request them to wash my car after service, well it is very clean after i got it. They even apply rain x i noticed.  Only rm8 quite cheap for a mpv. Sc mutiara damansara

Sigh, waste of time.

Their mechanic BS his way through, didn't fix anything. Told me the noises are caused by worn\uneven tires.
The service technician complain to me, say it's Friday, why I come in with so many complains.

And, most importantly, the radiator replacement was denied. Say they need to re-order the copper plug.

- Customer Service: Poor, didn't inform me the radiator replacement was denied, had me wait there for 2 hours.
- Technician\Mechanic: Poor, don't offer solution to my problems. Blame the problems on wear and tear.

The price i mentioned was quoted by a accessory shop included installation, not DIY. As for DIY, I might get its from online store which cost less then $50 for 5 cables /set and do it myself... LOL

Btw, sorry to know that u been wasted time in SC today. They really taking up time to handle problem, my last visit appointment @ 9am but I waited for the queue untill 935am then handover my bold. While waiting for my friend pick up, i seated there till aroun d 12 noon but notice my bold just seated there at the parking area without any action... doubt when then start checking my bold and I return around 5pm to pick up my car but problems seem not really done.

1) High fuel consumption - claimed they had done it, dunno, still monitoring
2) Reverse engine died - claimed they had tackle it, dunno as yet to encounter again
3) Fuel cover stuck if push too hard when close - dif kind of stuck now while will need to fix it next round
4) dashboard seem have sound - claimed need another full day or 2 to check.
5) Rear bumper missing screw - Ordering the screw and bracket and need to wait a week, need to pay even its missing 2 days after i got my bold. Yet to received call from them and will call and ask.
6) Alignment running to left - saw a Indian guy was doing alignment when i pick up my car, seem its better and no charge
7) Radio stop sometime and the volume vary on dif channel (87.8 louder, 92.1 & 92.8 softer) - still the same
8) Wiper stop in the middle during operation - claimed fix but still encounter the problem
9) Ground cable bracket area rust - cleaned the area and so far so good
10) Front bonnet uneven after close, got sound when move it - yet to fix and on next round.
11) Remote key distance not far, above 1 car distance not function - SA claimed its security measure. Any advice?

Guess if problem continuing unfix, calling I-care or wecare might help.

Beside, I just checked on Yes web page, there a statement said any new proton car purchased from 1st Oct 2013 till 31st Jan 2015 entitled for the Yes huddle bundled with 1 year free subscription, but  my S told me NO, wonder why while will check out further.

1) I usually use Ron95 but last 2 week I did tried 2-3 tank of Ron 97 when going outstation but its doesn't seem giving very good FC. Usual a full tank of 95, its can only last me less then 400 km... What they always said how heavy footer we are but I would say how soft footer we shd then to archieve the low FC (tried these few days, the FC raise easily above 13-19.9  even we not really pressing the pedal) Will continue monitoring it. Btw, I felt b4 my 1K service, the FC seem better as I did a trip to KL and back, guess I managed to get above 600 but recently 550 the most loh, even with Ron 97. I use Mobil 10-40 semi during my 1K service!
2) I did do it steadyly. My last encounter was doing a 3 points turns while shifting to R, engine died unnoticed, after pedal press and nothing happen, then only i knew it... LOL!
8) How to explain on the wiper, may be during stop at junction or when shifting to neutral, sometime i encounter it still move up a bit and stop at 1/3.
10) I knew about it and did tried to tuning the stopper but no success... the S said next round will ask the foreman to do something on the middle hook.
11) I does mean to have a very far distance but just a car distance seem very near for me loh.

Anyway, just call SC and my screw & bracket for my rear bumper had arrived, appointment this wed to fix it as well as other things in doubt. Will keep u posted.

My Bold odometer already pass 60k, i'm in dilemma whether to sent to SC or just service outside workshop. My warranty finish February 2015. So far my EB face 2 issue, oil leak and ABS sensor, already fix both. It is mandatory to replace the spark plug at 60k? i'm out of budget this month.

Now no more replace the whole radiator, just change the nipple to metal one. Call your sc to place order

idk lol, i saw at eocm they call it nipple, call sc first just to check if got stock, coz so far i only see ppl change at COSE, maybe need time to deliver that particular parts to other SC. Some even say they change the radiator head. Also got people say only can if your vehicle in Proton recall list  Too little and unreliable info i got here, call your sc for confirmation
