Item 3, it could the seat's leather rubbing against each other... the single seat with the twin seat... try folding the single seat down and see if the squeaks continues...

i do feel smoother and lighter in pickup upon using caltex. AFC 10-11KM/ltr, 30% city/idling.
as what i understand, freeing the gear during down hill actually is not a good practice. in high speed, its like forcing the steel belt to react in a sudden when gear is engaged. the RPM should  work hand in hand together with the CVT to produced  the actual speed at the correct timing.
correct me if i'm wrong, not good in technical explanation.

How about this? Each of us try measure FC with certain level of consistency...

1. Pick a petrol brand and grade. Use if for at least half a tank before measure FC. The more tank you have used that same petrol, the better. ECU need some time to calibrate fuel trim whenever we change petrol.
2. Pick a favorite road of your own.
3. Pick a few speeds: 60, 70, 80... km/h.
4. Set the car to auto-cruise and note down instant FC of each speed.
5. Report here.

Very experimental, I'm going to do that starting whenever I can.

mm, worried cos you know lah when going downhill the sound goes hnggghhh very loud.
makes me wanna brake more and go slower. but if go slower later car behind tension liao.
and they say, too much braking also no good cos later brake fluid temp go hot n no good for long term

Recieved my eb cocoa grey last Wednesday.. Yeah, I think the stock tint just enough for me too.. Got some freebies such proton cap, mug etc.. Also received tint voucher (worth rm500, forgot what brand) and rm100 duit minyak..

However also get below defect
- steering steer to the left
- petrol fumes after refill
- squeaky sound at driver's seat

Already send to sc Mutiara d'sara. They said already rectified it and now on observing mode..

Haiz, all the defects already known but still proton did nothing to overcome it before reached to customers. Sedih betul la.. Hmmmm

Good morning all,
Last Sat have an opportunity to drive my EB with "Turbo-off" full time.    The engine roar sound was so scary till I felt the Car is going to die-off with "Engine indicator light-up" while driving. Hit the accelerator up to +3K rpm & the car hardly move to 50KM/H. 

No choice but to send my car back to the SC that did repaired my EB on last Wed(for overcrank problems), 1st found the turbo can't turn ON suspect ECU but reset few times problem persist. Then at the workshop with engine test & found Turbo unit not function as it suppose too be, I'm so worry then the Foreman told me need to left the car at the center for further diagnose.    But no choice have to left it there since can't drive with such under power+Loud engine sound.

At last the car was repaired & can be pick-up at Sat evening after I SMS their boss to complaint about all the issued I face after brought the EB. You know what, the service guy told me the problems is all cause by some loose contact of the turbo unit's wiring.    
This make me suspect the guy who did the repaired of my EB last Wed does not did a good job that lead to this problems....

Have been reading this forum awhile before getting the Exora CVT Premium. Received the car last week. Color Elegant Brown. Had some problems with my car tinting, however this is in the process of being rectify, so no issues.

Back to the car, I have some feedback to share and would like to know if there are other owners have or had similar problems to their EB as well:-

1) There is a irritating sound coming from the left front side of the car (somewhere around the left front wheel / left arm). It happens usually from a stop position to move position (upon pressing the accelarator).
2) Bubbling water sound coming from the engine. Engine feels rough upon intial move.
3) Car alignment slightly to left.

May I know which one is fixable which one is not? Please share the correction measures?

Is ok to wait until the 1000km (1st service) then raise this matter then as currently the car is at 250km mileage only?

Have not read the manual yet? What engine oil is recommended and what service mileage is prefer @ 5000km, 7000km or 10000km for a Turbo Engine? Any good recommended spark plugs suitable for the EB which helps with fuel mileage and whait is the price tag?

I've had faulty side mirror switch on my Preve, and I'm waiting effing one month for it! Keep calling them asking update but they kept saying no stocks. At last I'm calling Proton WeCare and you know how many it takes? Just 3 DAYS!

can u imagine a mere side mirror switch needs to wait effing one month? and why Proton WeCare can solve it for me in just 3 days? the installation is done at COSE too.

today got my oil cooler hose replaced, its a recalled from PROTON although there's no sign of leakage. also replaced the rear room light cause of defect. i did asked about the radiator issues. it's true, they just change the nipple, not the whole radiator set. they will do that on my next service interval next month. hoping it can stand until then.

The radiator  nipple is a national issue already. I do all my service at the Bukit Serdang SC. Just a small SC and they don't have ready stock. They only order on demand. Better go to the HQ or main branch where they got ready stock there or you willing to wait.
As for the oil cooler hose, only 1st batches effected. The rest, they already upgrade the quality.

Any exora prime owner here? Can share some experience?

Actually what's the difference between bold & prime?

about the alignment problem. they say installing stiff ring will cure it. any one has done it?

hye, just do 1k service at COSE last friday for my 2 week old Solid white EB premium..

so far not really facing the problem mention in this grup..   wait and see..hopefully not..
