The invitation method to buy is a serious turn off. Those who plans to get it, good luck.

agreed. invite is turn off. the wait is also a turn off... they just keep talking and talking about the phone. i'm almost to the point where i tell them to STFU and just show me the phone.
still... in the end... if the phone does come out... the price is still the best feature. at the moment, anyway. 3-6 months from now... specs will be outdated. i was sharing this on the forum: By the numbers... Yellow = Shared title Green = Clear winner Note 1: Some specs (like screen size) are for comparison. No winner possible. Note 2: Specs taken from GSMARENA how to be flagship killer if even now... they are not really having any 'green' colour in the chart. someone in the forum said i should add price tag, but that one... XiaoMi Mi3 will win. This post has been edited by mydragoon: May 26 2014, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(kingdomdemon @ May 26 2014, 05:26 PM) true bcos this company is a new company, so qualcomn wont give a damn to this company.keep waiting and waiting only the invitation system is 100x more sux than the hunger strategy tat huawei and xiaomi using Qulcommn rather allocate bigger stocks of their Snapdragons to OEMs such as Samsung, HTC, LG and Sony leaving companies such as Xiaomi and OnePlus to adopt a different approach to fend for themselves due to limited supplied of chips to build their phones. Otherwise, which companies wanna adopt a hunger approach or invitation system instead of using a mass sale marketing approach? |

However, all these companies operating on a decentralized manner. On top of that, even OPPO and Vivo also not enough chips to make their own phones. |

Even Sony also have stock supplies issues with their Z2. Imagine the worse for OnePlus and OPPO.Cant blame Qualcomm also as they are the sole producer of flagship smartphone chips nowadays. |

Share this article to those of you dont understand difficulty of OnePlus, or even XiaoMi from recent rage over their limited stock availability.
Not sure if I mentioned in this thread before or not, reason they able to offer such low price ( even lower than Nexus which had the same no-need-profit direction ) is minimize stock in hand. Warehouse, logistic, resource pilling, small batch manufacturing etc need money and it will turn into cost. OnePlus use invite system to smart and precisely predict quantity need to manufacture. Their target will be produce and ship to buyers as soon as possible. While some people will say they had Oppo and BKK group as financial backup, OnePlus want to utilize their resource ( money ) on things that matter, for example research and development. I admit they build up hype and it's overrun them, people expect much much more from them, a 6 months old company. Their slightly over-hype slogan #NeverSettle isnt we-are-perfect EDIT : Oops, add in the mentioned article. OnePlus, Motorola, Xiaomi… why is it so hard to buy their phones?
