Anyone manage to waive the RM50 GST for CIMB Platinum Cash Rebate card? I need to call in?

My card anniversary is on November so thinking whether to keep it or not (especially if they don't waive the RM50 GST)

you can call in to cancel the card after a week they will call to retain you

yes. mine edi wave since 1st week I get the card.. supplementary card only take 2 weeks to get the RM25 cash back as well..

agree, twice already cancel, unable to get cancel as they call to retain and propose other card

I m still waiting to receive my cash back credit card. Have been using petronas card for a while, gonna cancel it soon.

Was using CIMB VS. I got charged for the RM50 GST, so I called in to get it waive. The bank said I have enough points to redeem the GST but I said I dont want. Upon hanging up, I redeem all the points with cash vouchers.

Few days later, the retention centre called up and said since I have used up all the points, they cant offset the GST anymore. So, cancel right away, but they are going to reversed the RM50 GST that was already charged.

any apple products sold there eg. ipad?

Emails, calls, multiple times. I am sure some of the forumers here also did the same thing too. Just wondering did anyone else get the cash back?

I didnt receive so far. Sometimes i feel their cashback campaigns are pure scam because the campaign periods are always overlapping between each other. And finally they wont announce the winners.

I am keeping the CIMB CB Platinum because of 0 AF. This is one card where I don't bother to countercheck the CB given because the T&C is so ambiguous. Had bad experience buying airtickets from Airasia & firefly and getting miserable CB.

so u r the 1st one over here reported u get the 10% cash back for CIMB 10% online cash rebate..i'm expecting the rebate as well..is it a must to give them a call? can i expect them to automatically rebate it for me? Could u update us your transaction time and date which entitled for the online cash rebate?

I assumed that they gave me the cash back first since I've made some noises. Let's see if others are going to get their cash back in these few days. If yes, then you will receive it soon.

My transaction time is 15th July 1.41am, while for August is 15th 12.12am.
