The ZING TnG is offered by CIMB as well, please check statement. Most of us been charged RM10 but they refund it back.

If you don't want to use the card, don't use it or just call CIMB to cancel it. It will only activate when you use it at the toll booth
*
the charge will happen only if i activate? i no plan to activate it.. should i call to cancel or just keep it as card collection? hmm.gif

just to update, the welcome bonus promotion is only RM50 and not RM150. Maybe you heard wrongly when CIMB call u..
*
no worr.. the caller insist say RM150 , RM50 for GST and RM 100 for u.

if only RM50, and bank charge GST then no free anything lo ?

btw still waiting my card to arrive.. wil update when i got my card.

if it's online you will get eg. e-city hotel that I booked at One City but if they processed it manually meaning you key in the details then later the staff use it to swipe the terminal then you won't get

but anyway i think you can test it until the make payment part whether it goes through ipay88, paypal etc this sure confirmed will get
*
hey i just booked my hotel ( thailand) with the CIMB tru agoda..
so stated book now pay later
but i got charge for USD1 for using agoda service with my cimb card..help ><"

so is this normal?

if you use that cimb cash rebate yes. but because cimb charges cross border transaction fee of 0.8%... the nett 'gain' is not really 5%.
*
