I was offered Gainward Geforce GTX 750 2048MB at RM425, which is only RM5 more than the 1GB Palit GTX750 from GBros. What do you guys think? Is there any difference in performance?

jdachum, you sure GTX750 got 2GB VRAM one (though even so, I doubt the extra VRAM will be useful for such mid-range card)?

The differences between brands aren't really a concern. You should concern bout the warranty over few % differences in performance.

Just get the one with 6pins PCIE connector on it.

I remember some 750TI have it, 750 I have no idea.

Hi guys, right now im installing the gainward gtx 760 phantom to my asrock b85m pro4. I also have tplink at pci 2.

The problem is if i put my gpu at pcie 1 which is pcie3.0, it block both the pci 1 and 2 where i put my wifi card.

Can i put my gpu at pcie 2 slot so that i can use my wifi card?
Would there be any diff on performance? Thanks

Edit the requirement:
- Intend for future proof (not so future proof but barely survive also can)
- Enough for GTX 780 / Ti
- Enough for R9 290X or CFX 280X

At first i was thinking to get FSP Aurum 750w @ RM399. But need to hear otai opinion first.

Does extra rm40 worth over the Aurum 750W? Coz, Aurum is fully modular with gold efficiency. Tempted.

ahh and shouldn't i get a dual channel ram instead of a value stick?
and should i get a third party cpu cooler and if so what model is recomended?

i will be using a wifi pci that will take up one slot.... mayb in future will add on soundcard.

Reason for the turbo boost is that rendering would require better cpu and the motherboard allow for better speed of the Xeon. And Xeon is basically an i7 4770 without the graphic card and lower speed only. So it's a better choice since i'm going to be buyin my own Gpu

Anyway to improve this more? I realize if i buy a H or B motherboard i can get the i7 4770k. But if i get the Xeon i will get the Z87-K (which of this is a better choice?)

I see, thanks for the infos. I have never build a pc before so things about installing PSU and GPU I am not very clear. Well currently planning to buy full-supplied alienware cpu first instead of custom build one, next time I'll try to build it myself (gonna buy gtx titan lel)
