The parts that I listed are all compatible right? Is that GTX660 better than any of the 4 GPUs I listed? And is the GTX650Ti boost oc decent enough or would the GTX760 be a better choice?  hmm.gif As for the monitor I think I saw a cheap 19" Samsung or whatever for under RM200. I'm actually looking for the best bang for the buck without having to travel to KL other than picking up a part or two or not at all if possible because I hate travelling laugh.gif

That i3 is good for gaming ah? Some sellers told me not recommended lah. They suggest i5-4440 hmm.gif If it's good enough for most games then I'll probably consider downgrading to save budget because money is a little tight but I need to replace my dead laptop a.s.a.p.. Though to be honest right now that build you posted is a lot cheaper than what I've got here:
Mine lari budget ody cuz I still need to get a wireless usb thingy, dvd-reader thingy, and keyboard (already got mouse)  rclxub.gif
I'm not really looking for anything fancy tbh. 1366x768 reso is fine with me. I just want to be able to run Excel and some games. I'll probably get the monitor Cable707 suggested though since it looks good smile.gif

Never underestimate the power of 4130.It should be enough for ur purpose unless you're going for heavy multitasking/editing which demands an additional cores

Between this and the Dell P2314H , which one would you recommend? (thinking of getting one  biggrin.gif  ). I've read both has the same AH-IPS panel but colour accuracy wise I'm not so sure.
*
Go with the cheaper one.. laugh.gif i2369VM has thinner bezel(same like Asus MX239H which great for Eyefinity/multi display brows.gif ) and MHL technology..since they're both AH-IPS,so i think there's no significant differences..

Qoute from expert review say AOC i2369VM :
Verdict:
Disappointing colour accuracy for an IPS panel, but this budget monitor looks great and has a wide range of inputs

http:// www.expertreviews.co.uk/monitors/1303441/aoc-i2369vm

Between
Asus VX239H looks solid and cool but expensive / response time 5ms  @680
http:// www.techporn.ph/asus-vx239h-23-inch-frameless-ah-ips-monitor-review

Viewsonic VX2370S  response time 4ms review seem ok @499
http:// m.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/monitors-and-projectors/monitors/viewsonic-vx2370smh-led-1129117/review

LG 23MP65H response time 5ms  @560
(no review)

Dell P2314H dont have HDMI port/response time 8ms @670

Can I say that if go quality go for Asus and if look for bargain go for viewsonic?

What about LG 23MP65H? They sell @560 which is pretty cheap for a ips LED 23" monitor, anyone know about LG monitor?

the Antec Strictly VP-550P looks like it has the same specs as Antec Basiq VP550P 550 W as both supports 30A at both 12V rails and max power of 540W
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Antec/VP550P/1.html

http://www.tech-review.de/include.php?path...contentid=15687

Looks like it has good reviews and antec generally do make good psu. You can ask Cable707 as I believe he owns the the same type of psu.

For enermax, that model I couldn't find any review from the web so I couldn't vouch whether it's good or not.  blush.gif

It's in my friend's rig.I've assembled the rig with VP-550P in it.No problem so far..(with i5 + HD7870 GPU).. smile.gif

Hey guys, just finalizing my com parts

I've decided on the Gainward GTX760 Phantom 2GB (rm849) for my graphics card. Any recommendations for other better graphics card besides the gainward gtx760 / I should be looking at which fits my budget about rm800-rm1000 (could go up a bit depending) ?
*
No.AFAIK,Gainward GTX760 Phantom is the best GPU in 800-1000 range of budget.Other than that,is the Zotac GTX 760 AMP! Edition, but it costs more.Unless you're willing to spend more for R9 280X..

my initial budget for rig is around 2.5k, and for monitor should not more than 900. or should i go with 24" instead? is it much different gaming on 24" and 27"?
*
Just stick with 23" or 24".There's no differences in gaming since most of below rm1000 monitor are at 1080p.Unless you're willing to slap more budget for Yamakasi Catleap 27".

So,i suggest :

Dell U2414H RM859
Asus MX239H RM929
AOC i2369VM RM639
