Good Morning sire. tongue.gif

Well, he did want a monster rig. Nothing wrong with a platinum grade PSU to keep a power hungry system feed. But I suppose 650W Gold is enough as well.
*
Go with a monster GPU,then.. brows.gif

R9 290X Lightning is somewhat a monster.. brows.gif

And Gainward Phantom GTX760 is the best card in terms of price/performance.

For a non-OC setup, stock cooler should be suffice..i've been using a stock cooler for my i7-3770K @ 4.2GHz no problem..just make sure that your case has good air flow.. smile.gif

Anyway,if you're insist on buying a decent cooler, can consider CM Hyper 212X or Scyhte Ashura CPU Cooler.. nod.gif

Wow. I did not realize the PSU and the mobo was so cheap! Thanks! Hmm... Do you think swapping the RAM for 2x4GB would be better?
Also, is the PSU the modular type? I'm not familiar with it =/
*
The PSU are non modular type. The modular one costs RM349 iinm..(M12II 620W).

Yeah, you can swap with 2x4GB..no problem. But you won't see the different of performance in real world.

Haha. Yeah, i've been asked this question many times before actually. I just to want it to be portable enough to bring back home on weekends/holidays. I actually have an old monitor at home, so i'm planning on buying a new monitor to place at my dorm. Then i'll only need to bring the rig back home and plug and play. Kinda like a console  biggrin.gif

And yeah, i have considered buying a laptop. But the good ones are way out of my budget. And i can get a far more powerful rig at 3.5k than a laptop at the same price. So this mITX rig i'm trying to build is actually an attempt at getting the best of both worlds. Power and portability at a decent price. Haha.

For your question on what's considered small enough for me, and at the same time powerful enough for my needs, i give you this:

user posted image

THE STEAM MACHINE  drool.gif

Can do everything a desktop can, but can also bring anywhere like a console thumbup.gif
Though, the only problem with this is, probably have to wait until end of the year or early next year for it to come out sad.gif
*
Malaysia has a very limited choices of SFX PSU,tho..the pic you shown ain't impossible to build, but the parts that's hard to find..not to mention the price also ain't cheap.. sweat.gif

FD Node 304 are small yet can fit a normal ATX PSU and a GPU up to 310mm long.So i think that chassis is a good choice instead of TJ08-E.

Size comparison :

Hello guys,

need some advice here:-

1. i plan to use seidon 120xl for my fx8350. will it help to improve temp of my proc (current temp is 43C idle, 60C load), will noise level reduce also (become more quiet)?

2. what would you recommend for an upgrade of gpu from my current one (now using hd7850 oc) with similar price range?

Thanks!  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
1.Quiet?Thermaltake Water3.0 Pro should be better.120XL also has limited flexibility since the tubing are liddat.. sweat.gif

2.Depends on what kinda games you play.At 800ish budget,a GTX760 sounds nice.. smile.gif

AIOs have pretty much 3-5℃ temp differences at max speeds so you don't have to worry about performances too much either. Just get the ones that can fit in your case and budget.

No worries.
