Hello Sifu David

Today while driving out from carpark , round and round down, the
under carriage of my savvy have many flexing sound. Ngeek ngeek
Dont know if I need to change  what part , or how many parts to that.
Can you give me an idea ? thank you so much.
*
Ur question too general jor. If ask lidat...

1) lower control arm x 2
2) tie rod end x 2
3) front/back absorbers
4) Torsion beam bushing x 2
5) Front brake caliper pin x 4
6) Front strut mounting
7) Front spring seat x 2
8) Rear spring seat x 2
9) Steering rack
10) Engine mounting x 3
11) Door striker plate x 4

Basically if you change all that, sure the ngek² sound will be gone laugh.gif but usually it's the lower control arm lar, otherwise is esoba kong nod.gif Take note I say USUALLY. Can't be certain unless I get to test things by myself.

Can anyone tell me the cost putting Honda B16A to savvy and is it legally?
*
1200 + 30% = 1560 < B16A

More than 30% threshold, so its not legal. Other than that, injin position salah. I can't see how can the B16A stay there without potong chassis/mounting/subframe & welding new engine mounts. So again, puspakom tarak lurus. But, its not entirely so devastating. This is boley land. To pass puspakom not a problem, as long u know WHO to deal with and how much it cost. To pass JPJ is easy, as long u send injin go puspakom endorse twice, kali pertama masok injin 1.5, kali kedua baru masok B16A. Dun say B16, mau F20C pon boley whistling.gif

Cost of B16A kosong is 6k. If u r lucky & got lobang deal with halfcut shop, complete halfcut with ECU can be fetched from jeti @ 8k(not display at halfcut shop). Installation tataw, sendiri pi tanya lar.

morning guys~
my savvy is time to change brake pad.
what brand u guys normally use? bendix or bosch?
*
Bosch Plotong OEM, soft & disc friendly. Suffice for normal use, enough for Genting downhill 1 time only.

Bendix GCT, pedal soft tapi very cengkam. Suffice for light track use, Genting downhill can go back up come down again. Disc will calar over the long run. But disc baru 150, might as well after 3-5 times tukar brake pad then change disc 1 shot

FBK..... Tak cengkam, habok manyak, disc calar. Tapi murah la sleep.gif

I have instructed him to assemble back the gearbox.

Thanks in advance

Magician say need to dismantle the whole gebox for oberhol. That alone ady cost u a fortune, not include sending the gears to foundry for remachine/balancing, can easily caugh up 1k++ & can't guarantee lasting sumoar sad.gif so, might as well tukak gebox he say

Bosch originally tiade bunyik. When you heard bunyik means the pad pernah overheated ady, keras ady whistling.gif Ori Bosch is very soft pad. If balik from Genting use trunk road go pass ulu yam sure GG.COM overheat liao(unless you drive 60kph all the way with low gear dragging lar) yawn.gif

QUOTE(us9392 @ Nov 20 2014, 06:49 AM)
Hello David sifu
Lately when travelling on uphill slope, the manual savvy
seem to be loosing power. Even flooring the gas pedal. there
seem to be No reponse on first and second gear. Then when it
passes  from uphill to level road again , the power comes back.
There is no check light on the dashboard. Can it be the catalytic
converter kongoff ? What other things I need to check ? Thank U.
*
Do you mean when u going uphill, you step on the gas pedal, RPM keep going up but your car aint picking up speed according to the RPM? If that's the case, it's the clutch plate worn off. Need a clutch replacement that cost you a bomb. If you're planning for a replacement, do keep the old CLUTCH COVER for me. The way I kick my clutch always caused my clutch cover break faster than my clutch plate wearing off. I'll pay you a teh tarik in exchange for that piece of junk, or your magician is going to sell it to besi buruk.

There's a possibility of what hcgui has said, could be fuel starve or lean air burning. I wouldn't be sure until get to see your vacuum readings. Under normal circumstances, the 1st thing to troubleshoot is your intake system. Detach your airbox and check your air filter see whether it's seriously clogged up. If changing air filter wouldn't help, then need to check for fuel filter and fuel pump efficiency. If need be, might as well drain the whole tank of fuel as it could be contaminated by H20.

Get someone to go behind your car, watch over your exhaust whilst you rev the engine on standstill. If black smoke like last time yellow black diesel taxi running around, then it's highly possible cause by air intake blocked, not enough air going in the intake manifold. If it's white smoke, Houston we have a problem! Either valve seal wear off or piston ring wear off, you need an overhaul. No smoke? Engine is perfectly healthy, most probably is your clutch.

QUOTE(hcgui @ Nov 20 2014, 07:11 AM)
Sounds like fuel starvation.

Hi,

Like to ask any expert can help me on this problem I'm having since i bought the car 7 years ago.I'm a owner of 2007 Sept m line manual. Do anyone experience the occasionally when start. It will jerk in 2nd, third gear. Or i would say in low rpm from 1000 to 2000. Usually when i encounter the problem. Restarting the car solve the probelm and it could happen in the morning during inital start or after a drive and start the car again.  The thing is it happen without a consistent pattern.

I just change to bosch super spark plug. 2year old of jec iignition coil. Cleaned my tdc sensor. Just clean my throttle body a few months back.

Guidance much appreciated.
*
Most likely is the JEC coil pack/cables that causes such issue. I notice you said after restarting the car has no problem, so I'd guess it cause by the uneven spark distribution whistling.gif Stay Renot, Stay Ori, Stay Shawie wub.gif

If u have not sell off the car, I have 1/2 a good news for u. I managed to find AMT gebox complete set. The owner gave up repairing the accumulator pump & robotic arm. Here's luck to try, double confirm with your magician whether AMT gebox is entirely compatible with MT. Once confirmation done, we shall proceed for price negotiation. Alternatively, seek advice from Renautech, whether we can bring an AMTbox to salvage part to fix your MTbox.

Cheers

Can tell here, no big issue anyways. Was originally an appointed admin in FB group by Adryan. Original intention was to keep everyone up to date real time instead of LYN slowpoke. Was posting & making new friends off & on. After a while, more & more non-LYN member joined the group. More post, more update. Things getting hard to keep up. Replying technical has gotten me handful. Either I don't reply, otherwise will make sure be the quality 1s. That's my style.

Out of boringness, was trying to poke fun like usual. As an admin, I admit I made a mistake for not identifying the poster was female(which probably just browse through FB searching for technical assistance for this 1 time only), with tagging her male friend in the post. The male friend replied to me as a senile bastard that admin should get rid off due to my vulgar comment.

I have removed my last reply, made a comment to apologize for my misbehaviour. Removed some TT pictures that's not supposed to be on the profile. Left a good bye note and left the group for good. Regardless, maintaining the page no longer fun for me. At least being a TS here in LYN made me feel like I have the RESPONSIBILITY to take care of our community. I supposed those who heartedly wanted to get along with fellow Shawie owners will come back LYN here & continue our friendship here.
