Today my machanic called, my savvy gearbox 5th gear fork sudah patah.
He says takde stock any where so ask me 3k for recond gearbox.
I do not think its worth while for 3k on a 10year old car.

Does anyone know where can i find this mythical Fork?

Yes it is drivable, just no 5th gear.

I have instructed him to assemble back the gearbox.

using bendix general ct. grip gooding compare to standard bosch. bosch ok but need to pekak kan telinga when the time it whistle. pad keras so sampai masa dia siul lepas hujan ka.

Lately when travelling on uphill slope, the manual savvy
seem to be loosing power. Even flooring the gas pedal. there
seem to be No reponse on first and second gear. Then when it
passes  from uphill to level road again , the power comes back.
There is no check light on the dashboard. Can it be the catalytic
converter kongoff ? What other things I need to check ? Thank U.

guys, anyone interested to buy a Savvy? heavy-heartedly considering to let go of this wonderful baby cos planning for a bigger car as family grows. info as follows:

Manufactured Year: 2009 (facelifted)

Model: N-line Manual (Solid White)

Owner: 1 (my wife) but maintained by me

Mileage: 66k km

Accident history: dented both front fenders before (left & right) during low speed turning, but both replaced and resprayed. front bumper and headlamp all intact and original. rear bumper resprayed due to scratches when reversing without reverse sensor. after resprayed, installed sensors straight away (LOL).

Accessories installed: Decent 2-way alarm system, original FLX 14' sports rim, 2-point reverse sensor, UR front strut bar, Erictioh's grounding, StiffRing, DIY soundproofing, CannyCool tinting (95% IRR front, 75% IRR sides n rear), Dura-Edge silicone wipers.

Tyres: Fairly new 4 pcs Hankook Kinergy EX 165/60 R14 purchased on May 2014 (used less than 8k km)

Original Parts replaced by Proton during warranty: Upstream n downstream O2 sensors, Renault ignition coil pack (seperable type)

Other parts replaced/modified: Bendix MKT front pads, Bosch spark plugs, Bosch rear brake pump (left), soldered TDC sensor by RS Auto

Engine oil used: I'm a big fan of Semi-syn 10W-40 bought from Tesco/AEON Big (always wait for promotion)

Additional spare parts bought as stock/back-up: Power steering switch, Gearbox speed sensor, a few Renault oil filters, ori Proton Air Filter

Problem: NONE. just fuel up n enjoy ur first Lotus. scheduled maintenance as normal.

Expected price: NOT MORE THAN RM10k

Want to let go my car for a very cheap price.
2005 first model tuv certified.
So far everything working fine except minor overheat problem that come and go. Installed temp meter to give better reading on temp instead of the standard meter (seem not accurate).

I'll throw both new sscus semi bucket front seat if price ok ( worth 1500). New battery.

Going for 6k with seat. 5k without seat.
Mileage clock 180k ++
All worn out item already change.
Will post picture later.

* original r3 exhaust, 4 point ultra racing, 4 new rim n tyre, racing body decal.

Want to let go because car only use on weekend (warm up only).

Like to ask any expert can help me on this problem I'm having since i bought the car 7 years ago.I'm a owner of 2007 Sept m line manual. Do anyone experience the occasionally when start. It will jerk in 2nd, third gear. Or i would say in low rpm from 1000 to 2000. Usually when i encounter the problem. Restarting the car solve the probelm and it could happen in the morning during inital start or after a drive and start the car again.  The thing is it happen without a consistent pattern.

I just change to bosch super spark plug. 2year old of jec iignition coil. Cleaned my tdc sensor. Just clean my throttle body a few months back.

Guidance much appreciated.
