No la. Z and even tx still in production and supported as of today. Hardware wise I think z1 still have potential

How you guys do a full backup?
Will it backu. full data? As in whatsapp conversation etc

i use the stock backup provided by sony

it backup and restores all my apps and data, include whatsapp messages

i used the camera a couple of times on the Beach, not problem yet, after use i clean it with normal water and done? xD

Having the soft sound issue as well. My temporary resolution is to change ringtone. But sometimes it will also reoccur but less frequent.

did a simple search on xda. Found the following "solutions" worth trying:

1. uncheck ClearAudio+, and check xLOUD
OR
2. disable smaart connect and restart your phone

do report back if these "solutions" work or not

vtw, is the sound soft on the main speaker? or is the sound actually coming out from the earpiece speaker? cause when i search on xda, most user complan sound is coming out from the earpiece instead of the main speaker at the bottom

My Z also has gone under sea water last September, now my mother using still ok no issue.

My Z1 is yet to dip in water biggrin.gif so far just basuh2 only

Yeah that's the main problem. Sometimes sound come from speaker and then it will redirected to internal earpiece.

Just rinse heavily after going into sea.











By the way guys, anyone on 4.4.2 facing the camera issue as well?

I.E you snap photo vertically on your phone but when viewed, it's always sideways?

yup~ i used the Sony PC Companion to backup everything..
It restores all Whatsapp chats till the point u back up smile.gif

I have a question~ am looking for a monopod.. will Xperia Z1 fit??
ive seen some comments saying it wont sad.gif
