this is the reply from the admin in the forum

This seems to be related to the Chrome application. If you close Chrome and disable it via Settings > App's > All > Chrome > Disable. You guys should not experience this any longer.

Of course this is not a solution but see this a a work around in the mean time.

Remember that you will have to use another browser application to access the web if you take on this work around.

This is still being investigated and I will get back to you as soon as I hear any news about it.

Seriously.... I have that touch screen problem and now after reading this, i realize i have this too

This phone is really crap. I paid top dollar for a piece of "good looks" but hell lot of bugs....

Sigh...

Considering to sell my z1. Any takers? Bought @ harvey norman in dec 27 2013.

Strange bugs. My brother has a stock. 136 firmware. No problems with the speaker bug.

Agree. In fact Sony and HTC (start from HTC one) is the most stable phone in terms OS I ever used.

Have you try factory reset your phone then plug into pc to repair software?

Contacted sony. Done a factory reset and a repait of softwarr via SUS.

After all that, phone was buggy again. I press the apps, it showed i press but didnt launch.

I would say LG optimus g pro n Huawei Mate is even better than Sony XZ, XzU n htc1 in its OS stability n UI smoothness.. htc1 I find is the worst especially blinkfeed is slight jerky but many users choose to ignore it as blinded by phone supposedly beauty!!

Huawei yes since my sister using P6. I am eye-ing on the X1 now!
no chance to use LG yet
But overall experience HTC One is very smooth and nice. I dont find Blinkfeed jerky though. Anyway new sense enable to turn on and off for the blindfeed, at least HTC is listening to customer biggrin.gif

I think i will give the service centre a try. I dont plan to fork out another 2k just to replace this.

But truthfully, for those who have tried. Did the service centre fix ur problem? I have my doubts..
