QUOTE(Yumi Hayashi @ Mar 6 2014, 12:08 PM) Well depending on the price they'll offer it at I guess. But I heard that it's going to be 500 / 1k above the original Z1 price. Or maybe they take over z1's price. Cause my microphone is already muffled when i talk into it. So thought of changing it, and give it to my mum or something. Thanks for the info QUOTE(ckchan @ Mar 6 2014, 12:12 PM) yeah... i think most probably it will be priced similarly to z1's initial launch price. that's just my guess. it cost 998 SGD :3 |

QUOTE(arrowhead7372 @ Mar 7 2014, 11:51 PM) QUOTE(s3n1sh1 @ Mar 8 2014, 09:41 AM) Agree. In fact Sony and HTC (start from HTC one) is the most stable phone in terms OS I ever used.Have you try factory reset your phone then plug into pc to repair software? |

QUOTE(arrowhead7372 @ Mar 8 2014, 10:59 AM) Contacted sony. Done a factory reset and a repait of softwarr via SUS. Some hardware faulty maybe After all that, phone was buggy again. I press the apps, it showed i press but didnt launch. Tried to Si Shit. I cant even backspace. This phone is a real piece of work My problem. 1) toych screen. I tough A the phone launch B. 2) when i answer calls, immediately loud speaker. Well buying electronic stuff is like hitting a lottery. There must be some defected unit. Go service center! QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 8 2014, 11:29 AM) I would say LG optimus g pro n Huawei Mate is even better than Sony XZ, XzU n htc1 in its OS stability n UI smoothness.. htc1 I find is the worst especially blinkfeed is slight jerky but many users choose to ignore it as blinded by phone supposedly beauty!! Huawei yes since my sister using P6. I am eye-ing on the X1 now!no chance to use LG yet But overall experience HTC One is very smooth and nice. I dont find Blinkfeed jerky though. Anyway new sense enable to turn on and off for the blindfeed, at least HTC is listening to customer This post has been edited by jloi: Mar 8 2014, 12:02 PM |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Mar 8 2014, 03:34 PM) QUOTE(chrono7 @ Mar 8 2014, 03:38 PM) I thought Z2 is having the same camera hardware as Z1 right? Should be a software optimiaztion I believe. I know. Thats why I hope Sony dont do something stupid and kill Z1 I dont think Sony should not be able to port this feature over. |

QUOTE(Bernard Yeo @ Mar 20 2014, 10:16 PM) How to update to 14.3.A.0.681: Put 'C69XX_14.3.A.0.681.flashable.zip' on (the external) SDcard1; Put 'C69XX_14.3.A.0.681_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder; Create a backup of your phone in TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard' (the internal storage!); Flash 'C69XX_14.3.A.0.681.flashable.zip' in TWRP; NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off; Flash everything in 'C69XX_14.3.A.0.681_Stripped.ftf' using flashtool; Reboot to system. Video Instructions: Start from 5:40 onwards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aq9YTlfCgc#t=398 EDIT: Make SURE you have the latest flashtool installed on your PC. QUOTE(ckchan @ Mar 20 2014, 10:25 PM) The are 2 files. The ftf to be flash via flashtool. The zip file is suppose to flash via recovery. But to install and use recovery, your phone need to be rooted first. And at present, the rooting tool only work on fw 534. Thanks guys! Too long never root phone adi So, you need to flash back to fw 534, root with a rooting tool, then install recovery, and then only flash the zip file via recovery and and the ftf via flashtool. QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Mar 20 2014, 11:39 PM) I know right..i guess i gotta sabar abit until i kenot tahan go root it |

Did a quick photo test on the kit kat firmware
![]() The above was taken with 8mp and 100% crop. Weird thing i found was the ISO 400 and 800 that I set, turned out to be ISO 640 and 1250 from the exif data. Weird but I will try shoot more on weekend to test. ![]() And here the sample photo of 15mp (top) and 20mp (bottom) for ISO 400 and 800 and 100% crop. I think I don't feel much improvement on the camera |
