is this only the difference? performance wise or fuel consumption wise no difference?

another question, for auto clutch, how to differentiate? beside the obvious Super Sport word on the bike body...
*
performance wise,if u can handle the clutch well, the bike will perform better on acceleration..fuel consumption, negligible, not much differ
on the left hand side,ES u will see the clutch lever, SS no clutch lever
Foot rest and gear shifter also different..and the way u shift gear also different

Rider FootRest
- ES come with spring and fold-able (in event of bike lean to low or dropped)
- SS fixed

Gear Shifter
-ES gear shifter is only one sided (front only, like the big bikes one) and rubberized
-SS gear shifter have front and rear..like ex5..

Gear Shifting
-ES gear shifting down to 1st gear..then u pull it up to 2-3-4
-SS all down 1-2-3-4

The ES v2 is 5 speed version, with diaphragm carb. All others use round slide carb with accelerator pump. Empirical data suggests diaphragm carb is more fuel efficient, mainly because of the accelerator pump on the round slide carb.

ES v2 has wider rims and rear disc brake.

definitely duno what is diaphragm carb...
but as serigala said, fuel consumption wise is negligible...u agree on that?

i believe data sheets are just wording game...still come down to real user...
need to get one bigger CC bike...now only start to do some homework, surveying price...

Fuel consumption is subjective. Let me ask you this: Any difference between 120km per tank, vs 130km per tank?
- To some, it is negligible, but to me, it is 7.7% difference, which is huge.
- In my opinion, when such a difference happen, it is time for me to service my carburator.

Fuel consumption higher on accelerator pumps is not *just* numbers, it's a fact - petrol is directly injected into the carb venturi.

A short read (from facebook, not so technical) on carb comparison here: https://es-la.facebook.com/motomalaya/posts/164391890282940

Welcome, wady89.

When you say 'decrease' and 'increase', preferably if you can be more specific. Example:
- It takes 0.5s more to accelerate third gear from 80-100kmh.
- Topspeed on the same highway reduced to 110kmh, where it used to be 125kmh.

As for your service routine, have you done the carb and air filter service?
What EO do you use?
What does your spark plug look like when the old one is taken out?

Get the carb cleaned up, and notice how the different engine response when cold vs hot.
It should be difficult to start, sometimes need choke when early in the morning and the bike is cold.
When engine is hot, it should be easy to restart.

I don't know anymore, I clean it myself.
Maybe RM15~20.

Best use standard size, 70/90 front, 80/90 rear. 90/80 rear also ok.

I want to ask,

What's is the difference of 10-40w and 20-50w EO on lc, in terms of performance,

I'm thinking of buying the brt cdi, does it would be harmful to std engine?

About the carburetor setting, I've red somewhere said that you can increase pickup by tweaking the carb jet, though i don't what do you call of for that setting, so could somebody explain about this please?

Thanks

Its typical for most bike to decline in perf as time pass, as a std bike user myself, I regularly change my EO every 2000 or 1500 km mileage, you know just for guaranteed maintainance, it also depends on what EO you used as well, ask opinions of what's the best from pomen, I myself use maxoil, most people recommends jtx, shell vsx depends on your budget too though, if significant perf reduction hapens , you might wanna get your bike for some checkup, apart from these advice I got none, maybe you wanna hook up a new cdi
