Quick question guys, if water got into my LC135 carb(Standard), how do i drain it ? I understand that there is kind of a screw that you can turn anti clockwise so that the water will be drained out. Do i have to open my coverset to do this ? And which screw is this ? If possible could you guys show me some pictures ?

If possible could you guys show me some pictures ? turn the screw at the bottom of the carb. This will draw out the fuel in the carb's bowl together with the water through a hose out of the carb. Close the screw back when all the water is out, don't let it flow for too long or else you'll draining out fuel instead (can be determined by it smell). There a hole at the left coverset for you to reach the screw at the carb, but then it'll be easier to work if you open the coverset. Reminder there will be a case the screw is stuck, just spray with wd40 or somewhat grease to loosen it a little. If takboleh jugak, then you need to disassemble the carb and service it all the way |

QUOTE(kz1 @ Mar 14 2018, 11:26 PM) Hello guys. Recently i change my lc135 v4 air filter to K&N washable one. Got pickup but sometimes when shifting gear 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 a bit sluggish. Do i need to do carb setting? Thks in advance. Mine all standard v2 till v4 uses the mikuni bs25 carb with diaphragm that control the opening of the slide, which needed some air restriction or vacuum to function properly. Yes you need to consider rejetting the carb, but still your carb wont reach its full throttle potential due to low restriction air filter, unless your bike is modded that need more air. Just reinstall the stock paper air filter and the sluggish will be solved.Refer to previous post or 1st page on piju journey setting the bs25 carb |
