Really? What about some guys here already take out the whole air filter & box too if i remember well. So cannot use the washable air filter?

Yup they need to rejetting the carb to compensate the more air they introduce. If im not mistaken there are few tricks people install open pod/no airbox to this type of carb one such as CV Carbs mod . And may i know your k&n air filter is the same size like the stock right? I had one too and faced the same problem, but i malas nak rejet the carb so just tukar terus the carb but use the k&n filter now. For you, try up the mainjet first or else you'll be running lean right now smile.gif

Yes same size with stock. So no point using if motor standard one bcos of the diafram carbs? Damn..i dun want to usik carb 1st cos still warranty. Nevwrmind i just install it back later when changing exhaust

Yup better wait till habis warranty first hahah. I can't say whether its pointless installing the filter or not, the sluggish may be because of running lean and need rejetting to balance the afr. Still waiting other otai here regard this matter

The main point i bought kn air filter is because they said it is plug n play. No setting needed. Still can use but throttle response would be no good. So it is kind beat the purpose of performance air filters. Shitty yamaha engineer really know how to make susah lol

Next month i planned to buy uma racing 28mm carb with Nob Titan exhaust. Only then i re install the k&n airfilter. Is it worth to buy uma carburetor or just maintain std carburetor.

Not worth if change carb only. Need to change bigger block.
Standard block better find used v1 carb or rxz. Improve pickup.
Diaphram carb = fuel economy.

Oh i see. V1 carb not using diafram? I dont want to usik block first. Speed is not priority but acceleration. Anyone know where to buy good exhaust in Kajang or Bangi and neighbouring area?

V1 not using diaphram.
You can go at Ren Hup Kajang for exhaust.
I bought lots of exhaust from there. Leovince, cj ipoh and latest kozi.

Kozi exhaust good but only have 1 option 28mm manifold. Cj ipoh have 2 option 28mm and 32mm manifold. Quality about the same. Kozi is cheapest. Cj ipoh and kozi has cutting standard design.

Ok if install kozi 28mm manifold need to setup carb oso right? If i install 28mm exhaust + kn airfilter how? Just setting angin carb or need to chnge mainjet/pilotjet?

P/S im not familiar with LC. Long ago i use RGV & suzuki panther (jerung). Now usimg kapcai back hahaha. Needed to update knowledge oso. Back in the days 2 stroke easier to setting. Like Ex5 very easy one. My bro using podfilters+TS carb & ekzos potong sudah laju. His EX5 difficult to overtake even for LC stended lol

Anyone have a complete diagram of LC V2 diafram carb? There must be some way to solve the problem i think

Setting your air screw should be enough. Maybe need to setting back your air fuel ratio but need to check plug color if white then need to adjust mainjet/pilotjet.
Old times just try and error. Now days, better used what others experienced rather wasting money and time to try and error.

To solve it, you need to control the carburetor slide because diaphram carb slide control by vacum/air. More vacum/air more higher slide.
In V1 carburetor, we control the slide. In V2, we control butterfly choke and vacum/air will adjust the slide regarding how many vacum/air. When, sudden twist there will be delay in V2 carb.

So the design is like that. U pulas throttle in V1 carb direct open the slider but v2 the tthrottle manipulate butterfly lever to mkve slider. If we remove the top diafram parts kenot? Connect the throttle cabel direct? Haha

Find v1 carb w working TPS function if want to install at LC, or else it a waste of money. Better buy biggger carb like rxz then. Don't be like me, got one w tps rosak and its suck. Now i need to find buyer who want this 22mm carb, target ex5/wave users because tengkuk is same. ranting.gif

Oh ya, kozi exhaust if not mistaken, dah sumbat fiber siap2. Cj ipoh need to open and install it yourself, cj ipoh with fiber more quieter than kozi, unless you tebuk the stopper in the middle of the silencer.

Hi.. Just got my y15zr.. And now planning to increase performance. Can anybody share their experience/ setting . Not looking for racing setting (prefer longivity).... Just enough juice up to 140 ~ 150kmh on hiway ...
