*Edited. Double post. My bad.
Just for info, target is still GTX970.
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/nvidia-ge...in-january.htmlStay in price is OK, hopefully wont increase in price also, rarely happened right? And also the GST thingy, better buy before April...
Will GTX970 enough for gaming at 1440p? Currently using 1080p, wish to upgrade to 1440p too with GTX970.
Also wish to ask, whats so special on EVGA? Anyone got idea, beside only selling in USA?
A 1500mhz+ core OC'd 970 will handle most games on 1440p fine. But I doubt it'll hold out for future games. 1440p is 980 territory though. The 970's target base was always 1080p users, which is why Nvidia targeted its price to be so low.

It's time to copy AMD's naming scheme.
Since AMD using Rx xxx
Maybe Nvidia can use Gx xxx

As long as it's not the bs we had from 8xxxGTX > 9xxxGTX > GTX 2xx renaming fiasco all over again, I'm cool with it. Those days were just plain dumb.
