anyway, i got the ASB2 papers with me. later tonite take some pics and share with u guys. the form is a bit fishy to me since it asked some really irrelevevant question, like your income level and also your profile - are u a minister, senior govt office, royalty or majlis tertinggi politik

so i like wtf?

and also SUMBER KEKAYAAN and SUMBER DANA. unfortunately, they didn't put the CRONY source there. if not, i'd for sure tick that one

eh got special reg form for ASB2? I tot got one blue colour "standard" one for all ASx? juz need to "X" which ASx fund only?

I don't know about income level, but job they do ask it. if u working, student, housewife, gomen staff or private staff etc.

maybe they wanna see if any PR members / YB apply kot, can use it as promo

Not a good week to get ASX this week.

Went to MB, waited for 15 mins to get my number, waited for another 30 mins for my number to be called, informed by the bank lady that she has 5 ASB applications to do and have to wait for another 30-60 mins. I decided to go.

Another attempt at PM this week. They have 2 counters for ASX. One chinese lady came in and went to one of the 2 ASX counters without a number. She has some problems with her car insurance policy purchase, the PM lady at the ASX counter tried to help her and thus delaying other ASX customers. Annoying! Adding salt to injury, when the other PM staff was checking for me, one customer came to him, wanting to buy stamps! The staff went to another counter and got the stamp for this customer! Annoying annoying!!

Guess what? I managed to get some but only RM10 of ASM! What a productive day!

I was surprised when I heard that in the BR1M application form, one has to fill in one's state and national electoral seats! Why? I did not know that BR1M is given depending on which seats one is in!

This week most agents /asnb branch are busy with ASB2 thingy. If you're lucky, they would layan u. if not they chase away u or give some lame excuses (to make u leave the branch)

Some banks are having problems with the asb2 platform thus processing take longer time (normally 10min already finish reg new account)

the 1st BR1M are given according to state seats. different timing & dates for each state seats. remember we need to Q & take the voucher

Which form you used for the asb2 reg? The standard blue colour one or asb2 only form?

Just wanna ask you guys, i've been depositing money into ASB trough online transaction. Is there anyway that i can view the balance to make sure that the amount really deposited into the account?

u can only know your ASB balance when u update the passbook, no online viewing

Updating your book would be the only way i guess ?

I think the standard one...if I recall well.

But we can only open ASB2 when we fulfill either one of 2 criterias right?:

1) below 34 yrs of age
2) maxed out ASB1
